I don't think that their site updated wallet so all was on old blockchain - better ask them.

Not all are on bittalk 24/7. - 70m in coins send in last 24h... anyway it show that 4000$... after roll back can be really wrong
you should remove only one transaction to minimal damage done.

Not sure what they are waiting for their last update said "We are starting to process VRC withdrawals again, we don't anticipate re-adding the VRC/BTC market tonight." and that was a few hours ago so ppl can still withdraw their VRC and dump on bittrex if they wanted to but nobody is lol

The hard fork is evident and I gotta say I did not know VRC was FDIC Insured.

I wasn't sure earlier if it was safe to transfer VRC from Mintpal to Bittrex but it works, not very quick but it does. Still seems to be some possibilities to get out above 30ksat

Hi,
Yesterday i updated my wallet to Version 1.3.2. A withdrawal from mintpal showed up as confirmed.
Today i followed your hint to update my wallet to the newest Version 1.3.3. It downloaded the bootstrap.dat synched an now the MP withdrawal appears as unconfirmed.
Under Transaction Details it is marked as "conflicted"
Can anyone help me with that?

you are looking at the wrong chain.

the original chain had a transaction volume of ~4000$ between the checkpoint and the theft.

the guy that lost the money is known and probaly thousands of people have told him by now to message mintpal support to get his money back.

The withdrawal was completed, I got a TXID, when I look on Chainz,  it doesn't exist, yet.

Will see what happens, wasn't a huge amount of VRC either, but not the point.

I didn't have a confirmation email, but I was using 2FA and according to bittrex, if you use 2FA, then you don't have to confirm your withdrawal.

The problem is that it will. Any new investors looking at altcoins after a week will never know this happened, and that it can happen again.

So best solution is to ask the exchanges to delist vrc as it isn't a cryptocurrency anymore, and there are real risks putting money into it.

Now, here's the thing!

I copied the wallet,
completely removed Vericoin inc all stuff in Appdata/roaming,
reinstalled 1.3.3,
got the blockhain completely up to date,
swapped wallets.

Now the wallet shows all transactions before change, plus one marked as conflicting after change (correct)

But all the coin transactions pre change are greyed-out and there is zero total in the wallet!

Crypto-ID shows the correct balance for the wallet address, but the Vericoin wallet itself shows ZERO??

Thoughts anyone?
