OMG i have a problem now with my wallet it is crashing and not opening runtime failed and I have half a million bank coin in there which I not backed up ..any help please?.. Is there anyway to back this up if wallet is not opening? then it says error loading bilkindex.dat..

o.k I uploaded wallet .dat from roaming i will try download wallet on hubbys comp.

My husband downloaded the wallet from the OP for windows and added the nodes to a bankcoin.conf file in roaming folder but it still doesn't sink..any other ideas or have i lost half a million bankcoin?

Try loading the old wallet.dat and try repair wallet etc. or do you not even have the wallet.dat?

Are the seed nodes still operating?
Tried deleting everything in roaming except wallet and trying to sync the new client before adding the wallet.dat back into roaming folder.

Not sure if it will help but I usually try these steps first.

Yeap things are very quiet here today..Shame I missed the massive dumpage last night..I better put in some low buy orders just in case peeps dump more.. Either way if nothing happens in 30 days once we launch our coin..I may take  this coin over  put it under our Umbrella..it's got a good working wallet.. I have ideas to make this coin moon lol.

Dont wait too long tho. Once the dev decides to pull the plug on the server for the nodes, exchanges will drop and everyone's coins are worthless.

Old dev has transferred code and nodes over to new Dev (dedicated) which makes Bankcoin pretty safe.

It should sync ... where did the config come from? did you make it? just make sure it still don't look like the notepad I stuffed that up once. the icon should look just like the wallet.dat its like white.

this will listen on the standard port for nodes talking and add them to your peers. it may take a little bit but short of someone posting a peer.dat list of ip addresses this is all you can do.

(of course im trying that currently and it is unsucessful)

1. I have taken the reins to run a Bankcoin twitter.
This was approved by the chairman of BANK. @BANK_coin

2. A new logo has been developed (but not finalised) you will find it at the BANK official twitter. A competition will be held for a new logo.

3. Updates for the coin, wallet developments and updates will come through. However the majority of efforts are placed at pegging BANK to the oz price of bullion.

4. Until parity is reached, the coin will act as an ETF (exchange traded fund) see ETF Gold for reference.

5. BANK is already priced in some successful Bitcoin agencies - http://diamondcircle.net/products/bankcoin  there will be more to come in the month of August.

While I am not a developer, I will take ownership of social media and try to answer any questions you might have. For those having issues with .conf files I will uploaded my .conf text file in exactly 10 hours.

That's awesome news..can you explain to me the diamond circle wallet? Also my bank wallet is syncing nicely and making bank babies.. ..So when it is pegged to gold what will exactly happen to bankcoin? Also do you guys need any articles etc? I have a nice coin blog.. ..We are also investing in DC products for our coin via Swiftbitz who are the U.K/MIDDLE EAST and EUROPE distributors for DC.

I've downloaded and attempted to use the Mac version, with no success whatsoever. There is no /roaming directory, no .dat file and no .conf file to replace. With hidden files exposed, I find no references to the wallet except the bankcoin-qt.app file itself.

seems a bit of a stretch to expect 100million coins to be worth 1200+usd each. market cap would be 120 Billion  especially without anything backing it.  i could easily say my recycling cans are now worth 200$ a piece but the transfer station is still only going to give me 5 cents. but nonetheless i have a few (bankcoin, and cans) and we will see if it does anything. thanks for the link qiwoman2
