Yeah my wallet syncs.  All you really need in the wankcoin.conf are the addnode=.

So your .conf should look like this:

addnode=node1.wankcoin.com
addnode=node2.wankcoin.com

That's all you need to sync

The rpcusername and rpcpassword you choose and set in your conf file can be used if you are going to be solo mining. 

For example (with cgminer on Windows),

cgminer.exe -o localhost:9335 -u rpcusername -p rpcpassword
