Last 3 times Mintpal added a market of their choice was on a Thursday, Sunday, Wednesday. Not expecting anything from Mintpal tomorrow. Bittrex is our long term home till we vote CLOAK onto Mintpal.

anyone know why my client is always out of sync?
I would like to send a few of my coins to an exchange and don't want to send them out to limbo because the wallet is out of sync.
I have 8 connections so why is it out of sync?
It says last block was June 10th at 8am. I understand that POW is over but shouldn't the blocks keep rolling?

i had the same issue... but after deleting that stuff some times, and trying repairwallet in the debug console it worked... i only deleted the blk ones each time

Any more ideas? 1. Re-download the wallet 2. Back up your wallet.dat (copy it outside of %appdata%\CloakCoin) 3. Delete everything inside %appdata%\Cloakcoin (yes your wallet included - you just made a backup and put it somewhere else) 4. create %appdata\CloakCoin\cloakcoin.conf and put this text in the file: addnode=221.1.225.100
addnode=115.87.194.125
addnode=24.167.54.233
addnode=37.187.144.69
addnode=37.146.231.71
addnode=185.9.62.204
addnode=24.7.226.120 5. Save cloakcoin.conf and close it. 6. Start the wallet and let it download the entire block chain. 7. Close the wallet. 8. Replace %appdata%\CloakCoin\wallet.dat with the backup you created in step 2. 9. Open the wallet. 10. Go to Help -> Debug Window, then click on "Console" and type "repairwallet" (no quotes). 11. Profit. P.S. For anyone from now on who has wallet issues (my coins are missing!, it won't sync!, etc, etc, etc) do these steps. It has saved many wallets over the course of this thread. |

At this voting rate (~100 votes per day) it will take 208 days to get to the top of the voting list. Do you think MintPal will wait 208 days before listing Cloak? |

I think one of the reason why mintpal or poloniex are not adding cloak on their exchange is because of the exchange anon function. This has never been done before and to their perspective, it is a big unknown. Maybe the devs are talking to them and explaining how the anon exchange function works, maybe they're waiting for this function to be tested and proven. who knows whats going on behind the scene?
I don't expect any big exchange to add cloak until the anon exchange function has been successfully implemented and tested.

They added dark and xc, both of those claim first anon coin but are yet to produce working anon function. Cloak actually could become the first truly working anon coin which is a HUGE thing. Testing starts very soon (today and tomorrow) |
