Durring the past year, I never really cared much about the release date of NEM. There is no doubt moving slowly and steady is much better than releasing a broken product. From that perspective I always appreciated the NEM dev team for taking great care of the quality of NEM ecosystem. However, recently when BTC price dropped and miners been forced to shutdown their mining operations "namely in the past couple of weeks", it seems to me that this is a golden time for a PoI crypto such as NEM. For that particular reason, to the first time I wanted NEM to be released as soon as possible. BTC miners out there looking for a mining alternative would find NEM as heaven of miners/harvesters.
