That is pretty neat.  That is enough for a person off the grid to run a Raspi2 all the time as long as there was a back up batter that charged during the day.  All together for battery, panel, and Pi and a cheap energy efficient monitor, maybe $500.

NCC is already opensource (https://github.com/NewEconomyMovement/NemCommunityClient)
as is blockexplorer and some other useful tools (https://github.com/NewEconomyMovement)

Next part that will become open sourced is so called nem.core, jar and documentation is already available,
so decompilation is possible without much hassle: (http://bob.nem.ninja/nem-core__V0.5.12-BETA.jar  http://bob.nem.ninja/org.nem.core/)

Last part that will be open sourced is NIS itself, but this probably won't happen this year.

I am not sure but I think you have to use a different email provider.  I remember trying to sign up with Hotmail and it wouldn't work but then I switched to gmail.

I switched from "163" to "tom" to "gmail".None of them  can work.
There is no other way to get genesis  account?

Looks like the next installation of NEM might just have an installer. 

I like the Windows installer, much cleaner than the webstart method.
