Are we going to see the launch in next 1-3 weeks  or is it still months away?

Devs said once multi-sig bugs are ironed out. The last thing NEM needs to is earn a rep losing large amounts of XEM due to poor security and avoidable code bugs.

Not from anyone, officially from NEM, like previously btc were sent to their account and transaction IDs were posted on BTT threads.

WTF???
NEMstakes are still being sold on the AE!
Dont these people know they are actually completley worthless now?
Some of the most recent trades were going for almost 100K per NEMstake. lol
Will be interesting to see if more sell orders appear.

They are trading for $1280 now according to CMC!

Hmm... That is very strange. I guess it's possible that NEMstakes could be worth a lot more in the future if NEM is hugely successful, as some sort of rare historical collectible perhaps.

Do you know how quickly Satoshi Nakamoto figured out this problem compared to the NEM team?

Answer: very.

1 NEM (XEM) = 0.01 $
100 NEM       = 1     $

1 000 000 NEM = 10.000 $
It would be wonderful if it comes true. I don't see it going that high, but 4-5 times more than today would be nice.

Price speculation is really almost impossible at this point. But realistically I don't think $10,000 and beyond for 1 million XEM is out of the question at some point in time. It all depends on a million factors though. Will blockchain technology become pervasive? Will NEM (and subsequently XEM) become a major player in this space? Will something that exceeds blockchain tech and makes it irrelevant be realized before any of that can even happen in the first place? There are so many ways it could go.

It's not that unreasonable, although it probably won't reach that price for many months or even years. NXT reached a peak of about 11 cents back in June 2014 when its market cap shot past $100 million. If NEM had the same market cap as NXT did during that time then each NEM coin would be worth slightly over 1 cent. If Bitcoin and the whole crypto market undergoes another spike like it did back in November 2013 or June 2011 and NEM successfully establishes itself as one of the top 10 or 20 cryptos, then 1 NEM = $0.01 could be possible.

Another way of looking at it is; with a $650 Bitcoin price, BTC would currently have a market cap of 9 billion dollars. If NEM had 1/100 of the market cap of Bitcoin, it would have a market cap of 90 million dollars. That's about 1 cent per coin.

Late redeemer here, we've got around 1 NEMstake and  the offer is very direct - please help us redeem it and we'll have NEM integrated at coinomat.com (I'm coinomat.com owner). We wanted to do it anyway, but still it would be very nice from NEM community if that could be done. I lost track of NEM developments a little, my bad Sad

Imo deadlines are deadlines and one man's stake is no more or less than the next man's regardless of other factors. If sashas stake is allowed to be redeemed late it would be necessary to do the same for all other late claimers, in other words, have another extension of the deadline which I'm not sure if that is possible or even if it's a good idea considering the number of Times the deadline has been Pushed back already.

It doesn't bode well on nems reputation to continually modify "deadlines" nor would it bode well to offer anyone benefits over another due to their professional background or connections, that would not be setting a good precedence moving forward.

Just my opinion

I saw this coming. I think the procedure for the BCT redeems with reduced amounts after certain times is a good solution for this as well...
