My 2 XEMcents:

1) strong abilities:

Innovation - compared to other cryptos: is high, comparable to top ten almost due to PoI
Development - comparable to top ten crypto
Community - no doubts, community is maybe a bit tired by the postpostpostponed launch however one of the longest threads and full nemcoin forum is an evidence of presence
Initial distribution - bad for speculative and manipulative trades (no really big whales) good for the health of the currency preventing irracional PnD scheme

2) abilities that "time will tell us how strong they are":

Adoption - the only adoption is still the crypto community. Good start point (almost whole bitcointalk) but still nothing comparing it to the big transaction systems
Additional features - the ability to finish the promises in time will be one of most if not the most important thing
Stability, speed of troubleshooting - there is nothing to add to
Security - the more popular you are the more probable and more sophisticated is an attack against you. Even an empty evil words may have a big negative impact.
Investors attention - hardly predictable, however it will prevent the price from big drops just by evaluating 1st cathegory of strong abilities
Mass Media attention

Just by math analysis i predict the 15th point at coinmarketcap at launch and oscillation between 10th and 30th place shortly after the launch. All depending on 2nd cathegory.

40 percent abilities to go to top ten is (staying bearish) 0.4*9M = 3.6M market cap for institutional investors to buy-in. Thats 15th place at coinmarketcap now.

Some very good thoughts. Time will tell, but I think we have the fuel for this rocket to go orbital 

Has anyone ever given thought that the XEM is an incidental but stable value transaction enabling element in the ecosystem of NEM and that the assets in NEM will one day be the determinant value of the entire NEM ecosystem? I have said this before from a very long time ago and I am still maintaining my opinion on this.

theres nothing really anyone can do to stop them from adding nem.. if the community doesnt trust them anymore(which is understandable) there will be lots of other options to chose from. poloniex will be my choice at least until kraken add nem(when ever that will be).

I think if you can make decisions on the basis of 'If, Else, Then' then you are a natural coder. Programming is also meant to evolve simple. More like you just ask the computer to make a contract for you and it can read you back in human language.

they are crazy busy with other things right now preparing for launch. dont panic. if your genuine im sure they will sort it out.. but right now they just dont have the time. the appeal process will run for probably at least a month after launch so thats why they are not rushing to do appeals as there are far more urgent matters that need addressing before we can launch.
