This thread and overall thing is pretty badly organized. It takes a lot of time to find the state of things and what to do as a staker (i'm still not sure wtf is going on atm and i've spent like 30 minutes already reading everything i can)

I meant that the core team is harvesting with their own coins, not with funds.

It's catch 22. If you don't harvest with these funds then you lower the security of the blockchain, if you do harvest with them then you make NEM a non-decentralized system. The only solution is to split harvesting among several people who will likely not collude.

This isn't really an issue. The funds held in for the Sustainability Fund are meant to be distributed quickly for the most part, within 1 year or so. Security is also not an issue at the moment, as currently all nodes seem to be good actors.

do NIS have to be still running for delegated harvesting ?

No. You can turn off your computer entirely...

doesn't work for me delegated harvesting is deactivated each time i close everything, and when i open it again i can't reactivate it again, error 699 like local harvesting activate again automatically each time i open my wallet.

I have localhost set up in "host" so that might be the problem. How can i choose another host ?

get an IP address of another node and enter that instead of "localhost"

Thanks, probably found what i want know. Had some troubles installing client with my antivirus labeling it as a worm but w/e.

I imported my private key into a wallet, looks like it worked. But not totally sure. How much XEM was i supposed to get?
