Do you see the icon showing on the taskbar by the clock?

Its possible Java is not working properly or else your firewall is blocking it.

If you point your mouse pointer to the NEM logo in the taskbar, it should say: NIS running (fully synchronized) , NCC running.
Did you check if NCC is indeed not running? Did you try to start it, by using the right mouse pointer menu?
As long as you do not see the mentioned states, please describe what you see.

iOS is a real pig for devs in this area. Ive seen this happen with other apps in the past on iOS.

Android is really the way to go to avoid this.

Maybe there is also such way that the already used commercial apps would include XEM as one 'cash' to their apps.

I think, I had the same problem!
You have to delete the file named 'accounts_cache_mainnet.json' and start NEM again.
I had this problem a serveral time, don't know why

You will find the file here:  C:/Users/'youraccount'/nem/

I have not faced this problem. I would do the following. Search for all NEM-related files on your machine and delete them. Afterwards, install NEM again from scratch. Then it should usually work. Which WinOS do you use?

Bags are good devs are around project is living maybe not in hype sphere to pump it all time but building good platform takes time.
So Nem is moving forward over time. Price like price once go up once go down.
Price level will be adjusted over time with nem results.
I think that whole crypto is at begging their journey like with electrocity 1st years were hard noone needed it they hade oil lamps stuff like that and now...
Evolution need time ad we are begging.

PS: Every time i look at silver price i think it too high... but when i compare it to price lvles from 10 years ago then i think HOW THE FUCK i could be so dump and keep

I even had the same problem after a complete new installation of my system!
At the moment I have no NEM in my Bag anymore, I sold them at 900, unfortunately 

ETC is the better investment at the moment, but I will come back for sure!!

I think the weakest point of NEM is the small community, there is no hype like other big coins although is has the better technology!
IMO it is even more important to work at the marketing than on the technology at the moment!
With Marketing the money will rise and there will be more possibilities for improving the technology....

seeing good movements and support so might be just taking some time but it will rise up continuously the project is good and will be supported
by the community i'm holding a little and keep buying while price still @ cheap.
