Then this guy is not an average 3rd world inhabitant when he is able to run six supernodes with at least 3,000,000 XEM (around 18,000 USD) each. Or 108k USD in total. He was rich before and now he found a way to fund a living without acutal work. i know a guy who lives in a 3rd world country that runs 6 supernodes. He quit his job 2 months ago and is now living off the rewards generated by the 6 nodes.

NEM Beta 0.6.79 Nebulous, Earthshaking, Minty As some of you might have already noticed we have a new release.
Planned fee changes are postponed to one of subsequent releases.
Reduced memory footprint by reorganizing how node experiences are exchanged. Fixed bug in scheduler which could make scheduled tasks stall. Issue discovered by @Quantum_Mechanics (and possibly someone else earlier), details will be disclosed at a later date. Upgrade is mandatory.
NEM Beta 0.6.79Here's the link: https://forum.nem.io/t/nem-beta-0-6-79/2776Supernodes need to be updated by Sept. 4! https://forum.nem.io/t/nem-supernode-rewards-program/1735/643Any tutorial how to do that correctly?

When the price could back to 0.00002 With catapult done as devs are promising and some other industrial use of XEM it will jump over 2k-5k area. If those tx/s will go >1000 i am sure it will climb easy, that would be really good theology to base at for companies with minimal entry cost.

Most coins are holded by Chinise not really Nem, probably BTC yes but not Nem... BTC38 vs Poloniex is now 55/45 with volume ratio. When was a biggest pump it have most volume 90% was from polo those days by,but i see that day by day XEM volume from china is rissing and probably due to them nem doen't loose market cap. When you have masternode (VPS node with 3M XEM balance on it) you will earn 300 xem per day it is 0.12 BTC per month. Founds to run supernode were reserved at 0 block, in 2years coins will be granted to node owners but supernode, after 2 years superrnode should be founded by Nem network probably by domains, assets registrations and other services arround NEM like that.

Yes, you are right, btc38 volume is rising. About xem market, btc38 is currently a little larger than polo, the main market looks in China. http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/btc38/#BTC 157btc xem volume http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/poloniex/#BTC 107 xem volume But for total volume, polo(29k btc) is 29X volume of btc38(1k btc), bittrex is even larger than btc38, but when the coin lists on btc38, it means the huge pump, while bittrex can't influence an instant huge pump.

The guy is most probably a sockmaster. Even at the lowest prices in 2015, and not many people get to buy in at the very bottom, we're talking at least $4,000 USD for all that NEM - more likely $8,000. Educated professionals in western countries usually don't have $5,000+ in their chequing account and yet we are to believe some 'poor' guy in the third world did and YOLO'ed his savings on NEM.

I expect there are quite a few NEM puppet masters feeling ecstatic the last 2 months. If they run a few supernodes that's good.
