advertisement will be for free if the job will be done you don't advertise product that you don't have actually ready

The faucet is currently down as lots of people were trying to drain it for everything they could instead of leaving it for people like you to test NEM.  :-( 

We are testing a lowering of fees on the Testnet.  At some point that will fork into the mainnet, at which point we will bring the faucet back online.

The funds exist for a silver coin project, but it would be quite a large undertaking and NEM doesn't have anybody right now that has a lot of free time as all the marketers are working on other projects.  If we can find somebody to manage the project, then it might come to life.

Yes there was in december blog post somewhere ... main reason is to speed NEM into 4digs tx/s,
to there is rush into performance using lower resources ( probably companies needs that with rissing infrastructure).

There is any schedule for this probably they will test it - if fails it needs to be fixed and that takes some time giving ETAs
what we know there is one full time developer working on it.

A rewrite and rethinking of the NEM fundamentals has been in the works for quite a while with some good things planned.  Catapult is a C++ implementation of NEM that will allow NEM to scale to new levels.  As far as I know a basic working chain has been built, but is in early stages.  https://forum.nem.io/t/stories-from-the-dev-front-diary/2641

why not make a silver coin in denomination of 100, 1000, 10000 XEM engraved NEM and shield? as in his time did for bitcoin, and where some had the value of bitcoin and equivalent, and some specimens had remained as a souvenir

Skip the silver/gold plated junk, the bullion rounds must be .999 fine.

The fund is meant for minting custom silver coins for all of the initial stakeholders.

As i understand the main problem with this is the fact that liquidating the fund right now would tank nem price HARD. As you said custom coins are around $100 and given that the amount of initial stakeholders is somewhere around 2800(?) the whole buy support on polo wouldn't be nearly enough to achieve that. I don't doubt for a moment that if you make sure you can still access your nemesis account when the time comes all the initial stakeholders will have their silver coins at some point but right now the only people who would stand to gain anything from pushing the plan through are the people who already sold their xem and only want the silver to sell it too.
