Price will go down that i am sure but ninja news and will move up again so beware of missing train tomorrow or month ahead.
My bet is price around ~500 then move sideways until news and jump ^^ you need good reflex.
With Nem there is time with no news but when it comes they will bombard you with them.
crashing time is good for investors.

We need a new poster boy who is handsome, smart and talks as fast as Vitalik.

There are some projects which already have fast TPS but are not blockchain ledger or had to compromise security to make it happen.  It might be notable among some nerds if NEM can attain 1300 TPS on the public chain and it'ld be the fastest secure blockchain.  Still the 'investors' probably not notice.  Investors are irrational and most are following FOMO trends. 

Vitalik Buterin could pour organge juice into small plastic rings and put it into the freezer, claim invention of Ethereum-Popsicle, and investors would buy Ethereum mad. 

Still I don't see fast TPS bringing in new users.

For adoption to be on the up, I think NEM needs the following.

Public developers - I'm talking about Jaguar0625, Gimre, Bloodyrookiee and Thies, if Thies is still around or not.
Foundation is formed.
Trollbox post campaigns - like forum signature campaigns where you get paid to post.
More community organization out of Japan / Malaysia.
ICOs, based out of the NEM developer funds, could create some publicity too.

We should expect much higher numbers in production mode.

I guess you could adjust the image and make an avatar out of it ...

Can you imagine all signatures showing images? The forum would slow down tremendously. Let alone all the signatures with flashy promotions for whatever service.

Shame we cannot put this, but it is best for the sanity of everybody around here.

Yes something like that could work good.
Im sure you can embedd html with images as ive seen ad banners that appear to be jpg on some signatures here. if this was hosted on another server and then the html was pasted perhaps that might work?
