Wow! 2 separate & distinct good news for NEM/mijin!

OKWave (Large Q & A website in Japan)
http://btc12.com/thread-203.htm

https://api.telegram.org/file/bot244155310:AAEvfwPfRvLazd8x-pd1g9Vby7oR0dTAqsM/document/file_1916.pdf

"Also, the system provides has high processing ability and convenience as well as higher tamper resistance through a
process called “anchoring” in which a separate hash is made of piled up saved blocks, and it is registered to a public blockchain called NEM,
which is compatible with bitcoins and 'mijin'"

Arara (supermarket in house e-money?)
http://mijin.io/ja/709.html

(any translations on this?)
https://www.arara.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/c9a7974cbc9816c284848b606d66e97e.pdf

"In response to the results of this experiment, we aim to block chain practical use in electronic money within a year in the Arara."

So as a recap, today there was a 1, 2, 3 combo of news.  Three companies, using Mijin for three different use cases, have all fully tested mijin, tried to break it, and have found it passing with flying colors.  They are now in the process of rolling it out as the backend to save money and provide better services to their customers.

1) BC Finance in partnership with Infoteria and Tech Bureau is working to put a private blockchain on Azure. BC Finance is the largest microfinance institution in Myanmar.  They have had successfully tested mijin for microfinance transactions and loans and are now announcing they will move their backend to mijin.  Infoteria is a large enterprise software provider to over 5000 medium to large size businesses in Japan.
Japanese: http://japan.zdnet.com/article/35089939/
English: Coming Soon.

2) OKWAVE , the largest website in Japan for Q&A and online since 2000, is using mijin as a knowledge distribution system, logins/registrations, license management of intellectual property, and micropayments.
Japanese: http://www.okwave.co.jp/news/press_log/2016/0928.html
English: http://nemflash.com/creating-okwave-ebisu-knowledge-distribution-system-built-blockchain-technology/
Technical Report: Coming soon.

3) Arara is a large solution provider in Japan for in-house e-money cards for shops, supermarkets, and cafes. They have millions of dollars in store card credit issued and after extensive testing of Mijin predict it will cut their backend costs by 70% while at the same time providing better security and 100% uptime for their clients.
English: http://nemflash.com/proof-effectiveness-emoney-transactions-arara-using-blockchain-technology/
Japanese: https://www.arara.com/news/press/entry4719/
Japanese: http://mijin.io/ja/709.html
Technical Report: https://www.arara.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/6d4068ddac6f8ca760b1b214045ed5ef.pdf

The take away here is that NEM tech is ROLLING OUT and at SCALE with real businesses with real customers. Others are testing or worse "planning" but NEM tech is here now, ready, safe, secure, and being deployed in a variety of settings.

Buying XEM means you are investing in NEM. The belief is that as the larger NEM ecosystem grows, so too will the demand for xem. We are already much further along than Bitcoin was when it was 2 years old.

What's stopping these companies from rolling out their own private blockchains (say, their own copy of Mijin), and entirely exclude NEM, and then make them available for their target groups (read: not the NEM stakeholders)?
(Please don't tell me it's the relationship between these companies and the NEM devs and their good hearts.)

All companies are making moves that are best for them. And like for any company having controls of own Mijin is essential.
You force parameters of network on the fly block time size, you can create for you specific solutions etc.

Using NEM can be forced by cutting costs and you will use NEM as public infrastructure something like ETH is for its tokens.
Sky is no limit today. But as we know all want promote own cake here - Mijin companies will be like BTC copycats fight who is the best in future.
Anyway this is good sign that NEM as blockchain technology will be used on some side chains.
And will be good if NEM will import some technology from those side chains too.

At end Mijin is at local lvl usage while NEM will be global public network no one know how that will interact in future.
This is big "?" - companies and they needs will determine what ishave to be done.

Hello guys! I've been trying to buy XEM for a week, but I live in Brazil and only now I could have USD deposited on my Poloniex acc. Is it still a good time to buy it? 25% increase on the past hours, this is great for the community! I still feel pretty bad for not being able to buy it before :/.
So, should I buy it now, or do you think the price will come down again?( from my experience, it looks like the upward trend will keep, but I'd like to hear more opinions)Thanks.

Old rules mate sell on news i would NEVER suggest anyone buy after 25% jump it will be mostly corrected in few weeks.
Buying in news will push you into trap.
Now you think tomorrow ill be 2x higher i will miss train but when you hold for a while.
Look at macro chart seek for point for you to enter.
Maybe try buying in parts like 10% every week on price dumps?
There will be people who will sell supernodes because of life issues.
Of course train may miss you but look at makro chart and take decision.
I would wait for correction.
News were not DIRECT NEM deals so will them affect price is short term ?
I guess not because NEM usage won't be higher so why is a reason to get more NEM now ?
Next pump ? Not rally but rally to 1400 sat is possible but to do that we need bigger news something like NXT
have released asset exchange and that have brought demand for NXT for a while Smiley
Mostly because of NEM trading Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

PS: If you are not sure then buy in parts.
But such sharp jump will be corrected

What's happened with Blockexplore / Rich List ? (http://blockexplore.in/search/richlist/). It's been stuck ~ 24 hours ago (last update: 2016-09-22 05:21 GMT). Normally there is 1hour period update, if I'm not fallen.

Still doesn't work. Anyone knows, what's happened?

Added rich list and top harvesters.

http://nemnodes.org/richlist/
http://nemnodes.org/topblocks/

That's great, thanks! Anyway, how often do you plan to make a refresh/update of `richlist' and `topblocks' ... once per day ?

yes, it is not my first time buying XEM. Now I got a little bit more just in case , but I saved most of my cash that I plan to invest to buy it later.Anyways, I'll keep an eye on the charts. Thanks mate

Well now is a good time to buy, It has not spiked ridiculously crazy (yet) after the news, which is a good thing.
If we can avoid sharp rises, thats good.
Either way, i highly doubt XEM will go much lower than it currently has been this week.

As far as Arara goes, this must be what people were referring to in regards to Japanese supermarkets.

Now, wouldnt it be awesome one day if we see Arara accepting XEM to purchase e-money cards?  Cheesy
