Congratulations to all people that have held their stakes so far. I wish to be among them, however I've been selling batch after batch quite recently and I'm already happy with the profit.
I'm expecting a huge correction very soon that will be normal of course but there will be smell of blood again. After that sky is the limit Smiley
No wonder you are happy with the profit. And congrats to your gain! Although it's probably too early, 1B$ will might be no stop, we just started here. But it's better like this when not all big stakes are not sold at the same time. Unloading during various phases all the way up avoids greater price stress compare to let's say everyone is selling at 10B USD or something like that. NEM has still relatively small daily volume compare to some big fish so we might easily go 10x this year and who knows what can happen in 2-3 years. We are still in the middle of the way, imagine when NEM is one of blockchain standards all over the world. Then your stake might be worth hundreds of millions USD.

Hundreds of millions per stake may be a little bit too much, but one can dream ofcourse Wink

In all seriousness, the whole market is booming now. There is a lot of new money flowing in from people that feel they have missed the previous boats and this is driving the prices to unseen levels.

I don't think we are near the top yet, but the bubble is growing at an alarming rate and can really only burst at one point. NEM even feels like a slow riser at this point if you look at ripple and stellar lumen.

Well, dream or not, considering that Google also started as a small search engine, now it's company with marketcap of 650B USD. Now imagine NEM as global blockchain solution with major market share used by enterprises worldwide in several years. Thinking in terms of NEM stake, it gives you about 0,05% of company which is over 400M USD for Google sized company. Yes, it's extreme but not impossible example. Bottom line is that NEM stake can be realistically worth 100M USD or more one day. In terms of this year, one to several billions NEM marketcap is quite sober possibility. Of course price can go both directions.

To be honest I sold because of two reasons, 1st to take some profit at last, 2nd to rebuy same amount during the correction. Might be that I will not have chance to rebuy as I wanted any more but who knows, big correction is still ahead of us. Anyway Im very impressed with amout of profit I have from 'nothing' (I didn't pay for my stake I promoted NEM through my Twitter account that day and got it that way) thanks to NEM's developers.

It depends what was the price when you bought XEM and what are your expectations.

Yeah, if you hold NEM since super-cheap times and have big stack of them or you are just fan holding nothing or both... you can open a bottle for sure  Smiley

Even after NEM stakes distribution, everyone could buy XEMs @ about 30satoshi for very long time Smiley

I was thinking why BTC38 is still selling so cheap and this is why https://snag.gy/T56X8O.jpg .... it's just down so price is officially above 0.1$ per 1 XEM

Congrats to NEM team, another nice price milestone reached!

Yes, thats normal. But your Amount is increasing. In nano wallet, just look at your Dashboard. There you can see your harvested Blocks.

I would very much like a proper hardware wallet.

Does anyone know how technically difficult it is to integrate for companies like Ledger and Trezor? I couldn't give a toss about harvesting et al. I want safety first.

I completely agree. HW wallet should be one of priorities now, XEM is serious capital asset that needs secure HW wallet. I really like Trezor so I hope NEM will be available there soon.

I've been perusing YouTube for NEM vids for the first time. I have to say I'm pretty surprised at the amount out there these days. For so long it seemed so quiet. It's a lot of fun seeing more and more people catch on.

Well fuck me pink, if the market cap isn't over $1 billion going on the ludicrous Poloniex pump at least. I think it's a completely and wholly worthless metric myself but still a bit of fun.

[INSERT COMMENT ABOUT +1 BILLION MARKET CAP HERE]

On another note, does anybody know if it's possible to create a smart contract in NEM that allows funding a supernode with XEM from multiple accounts?

Not sure but harvesting works similar to what you are looking for.
