Buy in stages.  Just a buy a small amount, if it drops buy a few more. That way you spread the risk.

This is the best way to get more profits because we can make more money when the price of coin increases. Many people fail to buy when the price of coin dips so before proceeding always plan yourself at what price you should buy.

If finished your redemption, and did sent your address back in then you should have your XEM, if not then then there is no way to claim your stake anymore.

There was enough time to get it done. But you're not alone. Many Original Stakeholders lost their Stakes because they were too lazy, now they regret.

There were many opportunities to claim, and extended redemption periods, but many people didn't think NEM was important at the time. Only now when a stake is worth over $250,000 people are realizing that NEM was a worthwhile investment. Either way if you forgot, you can't have valued NEM as a worthwhile investment in the past as it wasn't high on your list of priorities.

I'm really sorry to hear that, but the deadline was extended multiple times to accomodate for people that were not able to redeem.

The grace period has ended years ago as can be read in the link provided by someone a few posts above.

Unfortunately, no matter how much we would want to, there is absolutely not way to help you redeem that stake.

I follow NEM from the first time on, but go to compare Ripples 24h volume with XEM 24 volume... At the moment XEM has no chanche against ripple... If you try to sell a lot of ripple, you will find a buyer, if you try to sell some XEM the price will fall because there are not many buyers (=low interest...).

If you will keep a currency for long therm, i think you are right with buying xem  

I still hold the opinion that Nem is great but it has a sloppy or a non-existent marketing team.

And whats so great about NEM is the fact, that we set aside lots of dosh for marketing, which NXT didn`t.
Anyway, there`s a dip incoming now, waiting to push the button, waiting, waiting . . .

It's not what they put aside for marketing, but how they use it. Since the beginning there was no marketing targeted towards the general public and now still there isn't. The Nem team is focusing more on the corporate world in japan. They should also target the regular consumer globally.

Nem is true innovation for real life it is very useful cryptocurrency. This community is really big and so many new merchants are accepting this from around the globe. I think soon it will go to the mainstream and price will touch $1.
