heh its really bad idea, when i start offline NANOWALLET for create address I have only visible privkeys  , I cannot check my nem address because need to connect to node online .  NEM havent any good idea to solve this problem?

How did you loose the stake?

I thought I had the private key saved but did not, so when I installed windows 10 upgrading from windows 8 the wallet file was lost.  Had microsoft not released it, I might have both stakes yet. :p

there is a way to recover your stake
but how much you give me to show you the solution ?

I would not be much surprised with NEM being on 1st place by the end of next year. Ripple is not decentralized, BTC is technologically behind, ETH will die by its own weight. Who will last? NEM or something new.

hello all , i was a NEMber long time ago and i had a nemwallet on my comp. , i remember i had two files that i had to open before entering the wallet nis / ncc eand i keep my login and pass secure but i did not had the change to set some files on stick

so my question :  can i restore my old wallet if i have only my login and pass from 2/3 year ago?

did you backed up your private key or the wallet file  wallet.json?
if you format the pc without backup
not sure you can recover it

tanx for trying to help , i have now recovered te ncc/nis and it is actualy working right now , it also see my wallet "GivemeNEM "but when typing my pass it keep saying "wrong pass" , but i am 100% sure it is the good pass

i have the adress and the public key , can i do something with that?

my uncle is here joining me into the NEM train

we call him in the family googleman
he bought google shares for 88$ in 2005
and sold them for 130$ in the same year he was very happy at the time i remember
not now he can't hide his   sadness watching google eating the whole planet lol

Keep trying man, try different passwords, try NEM IRC and public forum, but never share keys, pass-phrases or backup files. I wish you get lucky, you still have your XEMs somewhere buried, not like me and many others who sold them long time ago for (almost) nothing.

You either need your wallet + password or your private key. Without one of these the money is unfortunately lost forever.

go see a  psychologist 1 hour Hypnotherapy is enough to recover your pass

tell him you lost the pass of your email
