In the long term yes. Ripple polarized very much. This is because it has been premined and is proof-of-trust. It must be noted that 100 billion ripples have been created, but only one third has been circulated so far. The rest belongs the Ripple company. NEM, on the other hand, is completely distributed and completely decentralized. And distribution is very well compared to many other similar projects. I am convinced, NEM will overtake Ripple in market cap anyway in the long run. We have been saying this for a couple of days now Will the NEM replace XRP to be No 2? I do think NEM will replace Ripple and in long term I also think it will steal wind from Ethereum as busses rules are coming, I just think it is much more convienent solution than programing smart contract...

Order books are not very deep so people cashing out are going to hit the price hard. It's going to be a roller coasting until we get some higher volume and market depth.

It needs to be on more exchanges. It's still stuck in the same alt trading niche as some utter shitcoins even though it's now top 5. Japan has a fiat trading pair but nothing in the West yet.

We had over 100% growth in 3 days... a dip is needed for healthy growth

I agree but that will probably also create some volatility initially as it will also make it easier for people to cash out and trigger some selloffs.

That's a necessary step.
