In general NEM market cap at 2B is still too low compared to XRP at ~13B. You should expect at least 30% of XRP market cap to move to XEM sooner than latter. It seems that some news will be announced tomorrow in the conference. In addition someone was referring to 25th of May for some NEM big news that I am not quite sure what it will be.
I certainly wouldn't be averse to the idea, but all markets are so berserk right now I don't think there's much point in comparing market caps or movements. They're all fickle and overexcited and could float away at any moment. All of these valuations are just a few days or weeks old. Nothing can be treated as a dependable metric. That is very true. It is all speculations anyways.

I wonder why. He must be absolutely rolling in it at present. I'd be coming back with a different account myself. In fact I'm sure he has.

NEM is big enough now to have the attention of regulators, so UP as founder would be a 'person of interest', plus he allegedly embezzled millions of $$ in NEM stakes, so maybe that's catching up with him too.

so according to the standalone wallet, I am harvesting. According to my nanowallet I am not. I will be watching closely to see if any blocks actually get harvested. Even an empty block would at least let me know if it's working or not.
It would be awesome if a user friendly and intuitive wallet that *also* harvests and where the whole thing is a straighforward process could be developed. From the beginning the wallet has always been a little on the difficult side to figure out how to run. The light wallets are great for sending and receiving, but not if you want to harvest.

I'll make a small confession. I've attempted to harvest and delegate and lords knows what over the years. I don't think I've ever successfully managed it.

I have a really good feeling that after Consensus 2017 the price will skyrocket I though so too. But it might just dip a bit before doing so to give chance to those who wants to get a ticket to ride and then zoom straight ahead. This is a good chance to accumulate more.

NEM Market Cap is 2.5B Now Will reach 5B+ in few hours This move was not totally unexpected. This coin is just great tech. Some of the alts I've been looking at are downright primitive by comparison. I called it on May 7th. As did many others I'm sure. Congratulations to the longs who did their DD. https://asktom.cf/index.php?topic=1905552.msg18909355#msg18909355

If the IRS is going after small time localbitcoin traders, I'm sure they'd be interested in UP now too. I'm grateful to the NEM dev team for picking up the pieces after the scandal and continuing. UtopianFuture was a scammer, and probably committed several violations of SEC regulations, and definitely some immoral activities with his sock puppets. He's probably logging in to plead for help from NEM devs. http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/05/21/former-localbitcoins-seller-admits-ran-illegal-unlicensed-currency-exchange/

NEM Market Cap is 2.5B Now Might reach 5B+ in few hours XEM is the next big thing Heard a company implement their code in less than a month and so its a proof how easy the codes they've come up. Price is moving up, it already surpassed LTC on top and will takeover the rest soon. Those who have bought before it goes beyond $0.10 seem to have profit a lot already.

I really hope the dev/marketing team cash out some nem into legacy (fiat), just to ensure they can ride out any downs more smoothly. I mean they have to eat, pay mortgauge, rent, power etc ... they need to take out a a few million at least as in $5 ~ $50M over a few months so they are sweet for a long time to come.

The team has been doing great without needing to dive into the funds. Why would they need to now? Probably have a lot of financial backing from the companies and institutions that they are working with to implement their tech.
