I'm expecting a huge raise (in a couple of month/ summer) with the release of catapult.
Just buy more and more XEMs with each and every dip and then cash out when XEM hits the mark of 1 USD.

Im pretty sure the first stage of 3 was suppose to have been launched in the first quarter 2017. Maybe thats why investors might be getting nervous and pulling out.

No, unfortunately not. Since the beginning, NEM is rather well-known for its ninja-style releases.
What we know so far is the planned release in summer.

Don't worry if there are some smaller dips.
Just buy as I do! When it comes to NEM, I haven't done anything wrong by following this approach.
You'll smile then when ninja-style releases happen (which are coming literally out of nowhere) and raise the value of each XEM that you collected beforehand by the sweat of the eyebrow.

Why would Catapult help Nem price all that much as others have claimed. Isn't it just a C++ version of the current Nem? Just to make it faster? There isn't any new feature is there?

Hello Hopefully Someone Here can give me the right advice or guide me.

A Little About me:

Then, I Further started reading that the way NEM/XEM works is that If I do harvest my coins, then Other NEM/XEM owners can access my Computer/PC.

I certainly do not want anyone accessing my computer because I at least have some important information in each of my computers.

Now, I am thinking If I buy a new/cheap computer or a second hand computer just to use for NEM/XEM but it seems a bit too much.

Please, If someone could clarify, I would greatly appreciate it.
Any advice someone can give me, I would be very thankful.

Also, these questions could also be running through many new investor's mind.

I am open to take in any information from a programmer here or just a simple investor like me who is not a programmer and how his/her experience was buying NEM.

1. A node is what is used to do harvesting
2. You can harvest using someone else's node so you don't even need to have anything running to harvest. Just assigned the node to harvest for you in your wallet.
3. You can harvest with your own private node, closed to the public
4. Your wallet can be setup separately from a node so you can have a computer running a node without your personal info and another device that has your wallet. So even if you open your node to public, there is nothing in it that hackers can gain from.

Catapult is a complete refactoring of the code to add new features and improve existing ones.

Switching to c++ only because our developers prefer it.

C++ is way more efficient than running java.
Performance increases are huge.

When it comes to altcoin pumpers, nothing is priced in. All a developer has to do is fart in a particular direction and they're off.

It all depends on whether rationality returns to the alt market by then.

Sure UP! NEM is currently very cheap. Look at the crypto market. All alts doubled in value during the past month. NEM might drop only in case all alts drop as BTC rises above 3K. But still NEM might continue holding its value.

By the way one simple point that should be clear for you is that 15 to 20% up/down is a normal move in the crypto world. From that perspective NEM price is considered stable, namely when BTC is rising everyday. In fact NEM market value is still sustained at 2B. There is no question that NEM will rise to 4B way before August.
