Does anyone know whether there are plans to to have NEM listed on fiat exchanges like kraken, bitfinex, bitstamp or coinbase ?
Even if we could bribe Kraken, I doubt they're going to be adding anything new for a long while. They've culled their markets to concentrate on working again. As for the others, I doubt it. XEM volume is too low and too erratic. |

Not good enough. They're spammed by altcoin fans thousands of times per hour. Spam the volume with millions of buys. |

They'll do it when NEM is ready, not yet but it'll be ready when it's ready. Its just a matter of time before they list NEM. Once they realise how much transaction fees they are losing by not listing XEM, they will definitely add it. |

I don't think that it is good idea to spread out NEM on markets until it will skyrocket. Bittrex is enough for now. The less the number of Exchanges the more solid price. |

I don't think that it is good idea to spread out NEM on markets until it will skyrocket. Bittrex is enough for now. The less the number of Exchanges the more solid price. I think your perception is completely wrong because the more exchanges the more exposure to people. It will get more demdand only we exposure to different part of the world and different exchanges then only the price of NEM will increase. |

That's ridiculous. The more exchanges there are the more people it's exposed to, the more interested is generated. If it was placed on a Korean exchange right now it would blossom. |

Obviously they don't want it.

That sounds like a "business strategy" : exchanges want to get benefits from a work which at the end would anyway benefit all. They just want to get the maximum benefit: at first a clear pay for the work, then the volumes in the exchange are increasing, which brings some money to their pockets. Another reason for not taking some cryptocoin to the exchange may be that there is certain "pump & dump" schedule. And NEM just does not fit to it right now. |

No, it is not completely ready. Please consider that NEM is still in version 0.6.x. It can be considered ready if it achieved version 1.x. If you also look at the roadmap and the features which still should be implemented then it is probably ready for exchanging NEM as a currency but not enterprise-ready and not ready for mainstream adoption in my opinion. We will get a step closer when Catapult will be released soon hopefully. But basically there is still a long way to go. I like the approach of the developer team by doing constant good work and by not hyping the coin as other developers do. |

No, it is not completely ready. Please consider that NEM is still in version 0.6.x. It can be considered ready if it achieved version 1.x. If you also look at the roadmap and the features which still should be implemented then it is probably ready for exchanging NEM as a currency but not enterprise-ready and not ready for mainstream adoption in my opinion. Version numbers do not refer the completion level. 0.x version can be quite ready, 95 %, but it is not officially published. What is now missing from NEM ? Is that an essential feature ?
