No one here gets what you're saying; stop trying.  I just pop by to see if anything truly positive is happening from time to time.  Looks the same to me!

So in my last posts I was highly critical of nem and the lack of exposure/interest.
Is anyone else not concerned?
We have a extremely low volume, easily the lowest in the top 30
Nem Reddit sub is dead
Nem Bitcoin talk is dead save for a few regular posters
Nem official forms are even worse than the 2 above as far as being dead.

The meetups are good I guess. But I don't see how you're going to grow a huge user base 15-20 people at a time in random cities.

Just a list of concerns that really bother me about this coin. I want it to succeed and do well, but I'm frustrated by the lack of forward thinking and exposure.
I've held a large amount of coins for 3 years. I expect things to get better not worse. Instead of fading into obscurity I'd like to see relevance. Hype, hope, excitement.. something as opposed to the nothing we have currently. People are indifferent about this coin.. and that needs to change. If I had all the answers I'd post them. But I don't. At the end of the day it's the foundation's responsibility to ensure this coin succeeds. I hope they can do it.

How many coins do you need to hold the node now? is there a master node? do you plan to reduce the number of coins required for the node?

The biggest issue is the commentatorship in the cryptonews. It isn´t the problem inside at the different NEM channals, that´s actually better now, but outside of them.
Look at consensus 2018, no comment at coindesk or in any other ("bigger") newsportal for example.
How much aricels about other blockchainprojects can you read every day.  

Coindesk never, ever mentions certain coins and NEM has always been one of them. They're owned by Barry Silbert's Digital Currency Group so they have a vested interest in suppressing awareness of projects they don't have a stake in. Quite a few others have the same complaint.

Everyone can set up a NEM node. You do not need to have a specific amount of coins. NEM uses harvesting which is possible with a minimum of 10k NEM. Also you can do delegate harvesting what does not require an own node.

As far as I know NEM got listed for free on Binance. It was one of the top coins not listed but that would have been against Binance idea of being an exchange. Yes the exchanges don't have any major impact besides some short term Pumd and dump.

Decentralized exchanges are nice but I think it will take some time before there are actually mature enough to really compete.

The foundation is indeed releasing there own exchange, but centralized in the near future

Just downloaded the mobile wallet (Android). The GUI is confusing and pretty ugly. Are there any efforts to change that by anyone?

Warm welcome to the board now we are at same ship I think this is good amount which could change your life and it will help you to make huge profit in future if keep approach as long term. This project is still undervalued while some big features are planned to launch soon.

In the long term, such a contribution can really make a person a millionaire. You just need to be able to wait for the right moment. Then the price will soar and you can safely take profits.

I think everything above 10k XEM is quite a good amount for the future. It gives you the chance to harvest, which is not very profitable right now, but you never know what the future brings. If really wide adopted with all blocks being full, its very nice to have the possibility to start with it. 20K could sure lead to a good ROI in the future, although a millionaire might be quite optimistic

Yes, 20 thousand coins can not turn a person into a dollar millionaire. But the most important thing is that these investments will necessarily be successful. The price of coins will grow dozens of times, you just need to have patience.
