i will never understand why this,  the best ALT coin out there, have some many problems and drama.

for me the most important problem here, is the communication about what are doing the PR and/or dev team, im sure that if they give us more info about how is going on here, ppl will start to calm down, beside it, i think that the main dev need help to develop the PoC2 and is sad that noboody know about how is going with it. ( yes i know dev sayd the PoC2 is in hold )

It seems many people get tired of the low result of the PR team.
I hope that soon a leader will be found, who motivates the ENTIRE community to post about the features of BURSTs.

Simple things like a signature or a focused re-tweet action would help. However, we do not even know if and when such info is available. E.g., I have 14.9k Follower on Twitter! Some of my friends have over 100k, who would re-tweet.
There is no plan to do a PR campaign. Every then and when we hear, we need donation to do a promotion, ...

Perhaps they are working their asses off, but we are not seeing the results. Sure, they work for free but no longer even ask for donations.

What I would like is a roadmap for their upcoming promotional efforts along with cost estimates (to do CFs).

Burst has a main dev who does not communicate very often, I respect that but wish he communicated with someone who could post the plans for him. But the silly thing is that we now have a PR department which also has become bad at communication.
 
Looking from the outside, it looks like the coin is dying step-by-step - while that might not be the case at all.


PS: Elmit, how hard is it to go to @real_burstcoin to see the updates and retweet them to your small town of followers?

It is not hard to go there, but it is not a PR campaign there, just random notes.

A marketing campaign uses ONE item to focus, and then as many as possible should jump onto that ONE item and re-tweet it. That requires a coordination of tweets (...) so that prospects will be get this info from multiple sites. Goal hereby is to confuse the target from where he got the information, ... hence it is accepted as true!

Tests have shown, that you can go to your co-worker and tell him that he looks sick. When in short time multiple people tell him that, then he will go home, because he is "sick".

A PR campaign does exactly the same! Many blogs, many tweets, many facebook infos in a short time about the same.

The thing is, the team gets tired of constantly fighting the trolls who are pretending like they're out for the betterment of the coin. Such as Elmit.

If we could stop troll wrangling and actually focus on what needs to be done, a lot more would happen.

I myself, pretty much took a break because I just didn't feel like dealing with the constant nonsense anymore.


But, that being said, we haven't gone anywhere, dev is fully active, and things are going to keep on keeping on as they should.


Also, one more thing people should remember, this isn't our full time job, not even close. BURST isn't making any of us any money, so the amount of time we have to focus on it, is a direct correlation to that. We have done a TON, for FREE, and even GIVEN money to help the project. So, if anyone else would like to help, instead of just telling the world what should be different, we ENCOURAGE COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE!


edit: we would all love it if we could make enough from BURST to make it our full time jobs, but the fact is, that's a ways off if ever. So until then, we can only promise we will do what we can when we can. We have very active devs, and many of them. daWallet just made a windows wallet that everyone was bitching about for a long time, but for some reason no one praised him or even donated anything to him...

The law in Germany requires him to put a link [Impressum]. If this page is missing a punishment of 5,000 to 25,000 Euro is the result.
He prefers NOT to do that page, so he needs to close. I don't know what he wants to hide by not revealing his NAME, ADDRESS and VAT number (in case he has a company). See a sample at http://burstcoin.de/impressum.htm

First was all fine, well there was a pool with many names, many up and more down times.
I tried to help them, but they did not want my help. Even Uray said, that this cannot work what they want to achieve.
Waiting for a workable pool and a customer on hand who wanted to invest, I setup my own pool. I had no problem. Pointing that out started the war.
Now there are two pools.
Seeing that the PR team is making literally tens of documents at one point and tried all of them at once to promote.
I was then invited to join the PR team, which I hesitated, but at 3 am I still send in my application. I was refused. Honestly, I was happy about it. I cannot run my own pool and promote another one.

I am constantly attacked for anything I say, because they are a group. I am an elephant, I have a thick skin.

As many of us, I do BURST on the side line. My day-job goes first. From my day-job I live.

There is a law you have to fulfill. PUNKT!
I do not know why it is difficulty for you to add the Impressum, while burstcoin.de could. That sounds that you want to hide something. Anyway the law requires it.
The hint to explain your data has been questioned here many times. EVEN I HAD TO ASK THAT (a half year ago).

You do not need to close your site, you have chosen to do so. Fulfill the law is all  you need to do. You can move the data to another server, is also fine.

Good you point out stealing. Do you know that there is a block chain. Please proof your stealing argument. I mean PROOF not repeat a photoshop or text piece produced by Headache.

I removed the link as ALL OTHER POOLS HAVE NO LINK EITHER. So why is it wrong when I adjust it to the same as other pool?
I fixed a lots of the pool software, but honestly it was not much to fix, it was just to set it correct.

I gave many times the hints where the setting is wrong, I admit with your page. The key is in balance.
