Ok, so I have:

1. an account and worker on http://pom.m-hash.com/
2. XMGminer & CMpool folders
3. a batch file (from http://pom.m-hash.com/index.php?page=gettingstarted)
4. m-wallet (almost finished synchronizing)

Now what?  Where do I place the batch file - in my m-wallet directory?  How must I configure XMGminer/CMpool?


My CPU's hash rate is ~27 kh/s, by the way...

Put batch file in folder where is minerd.exe and start it.
Batch file can look like:

minerd.exe -a m7mhash -o stratum+tcp://mining.m-hash.com:3334 -u YourPoolLogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword

if everything is ok you will get something similiar to:

should .bat and minerd.exe be in a specific wallet directory?  and do I need to change minerd.exe to minerd-x64-haswell.exe in the batch file?

When trying to run the executable, nothing happens

There is no dependencies where is minerd.exe.
You can try goto command line, change to miner directory, and then paste:

minerd.exe -a m7mhash -o stratum+tcp://mining.m-hash.com:3334 -u YourPoolLogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword

and Enter.
Something must happen.
If miner start to mine on pool, you can make .bat file in that folder for future use.
if you have minerd-x64........exe then you have to change in command. There are many miners, don't sure about them all.

But 'Stratum Authentication' has failed....any idea how to fix this?

EDIT: have you add worker in your menu: My Account -> My workers, and left form -> Add new worker ?

I'm using wolf-m7m-cpuminer-V2-x64-0204:

and its running my CPU at 100%    any way to lessen this load to 20 or 30%?

Add -t switch to your command. This switch tells minerd.exe how many thread (cores) to use. try something like:

and change 2 to any number of cores you wish to use. And of course it depends of how many cores your CPU have...

No you have to go to My Account -> Edit Account scroll down to Cash Out.
But the Fee is much lower if you setup a Automatic Payout Threshold.
