It's nice to see a few more people interested in Magi - its a great and very unique coin! Welcome to the community.

If I remember correctly, Joe (our Dev) is working (or at least planning) on some new features to make the PoW and PoS algorithms fairer and reduce the possibility of exploitation by people with large hashing power. There has been discussion about and update of the OP and adding a updated roadmap recently - don't think its quite there so far.

I think the increase of the price has increased the amount of people mining which increased the hash rate which in turn has crippled the block reward - slow and steady wins the race when it comes to magi. Magi becomes more difficult to mine as more people are mining it.

Regarding the plans, in addition to prior plans already in progress I have some features else in mind including the wallet itself, the miners, and some easy-handle tools for staking / mining, things like that. Additionally, I seriously consider something else to be merged into the coin, for example, anonymity would be a one on the list I'd look at. It seems like I need some more time to get these sorted out, just to be sure the things are good to go and to be done firmly.

You all are welcome to suggest the features you want to be into the coin.

Another hot item today : Smart Contracts, look for example at Bitbay or Particl.
I'm not sure if it is really interesting but you can always take a brief look at it.
NAV started long time ago around 400 Sat, now 10K because of their (anon) developments.
I'm sure you have looked at them also.
By the way, your other interest, a while ago, GRS, many developments but no gain, so far.
This means developments are good, but not always leading to higher price.

Haha, I love the picture Frisian, and good to see you are prepared - I think that Magi is in a better position than ever before to make an impact (price could go either way from here - but I think the next trough will be much higher than the last one) - market cap is hovering around or above 200k for over a month now - last year we were between 20 and 40k if I remember correctly. If we can make the same progress in the next year - I'll be very happy. Magi is building slowly so doesn't seem to be following the trend of a lot of pump and dump coins (although still has more than enough volatility)

If we can make the same progress in the next year - I'll be very happy. Magi is building slowly so doesn't seem to be following the trend of a lot of pump and dump coins (although still has more than enough volatility)

Maybe because of the failed pump and dump of last week the price stays higher.
For many years the $ price of XMG was 0.03. Now it's around 0.05.
In the last years we had a marketcap around $200.000, now it's $340.000
Of course it's mostly because of the BTC price, in the beginning of XMG the BTC price
was around 150 $, it's now 1100 $.
At the start XMG was above 10K, but slowly went down until 1500 sat.
The last year it keeps climbing (mostly) slowly.
Looking at other coins, the pump and dump seems to be necessary to grow.
The coin gets attention by the exchanges when there's a pump and dump.
And attention is the engine for growth.

when you see btc up and your coin strong hold, dont sell , dont dump, thats good signal. imo why xcoin is strong, because devs work on it, and its growing on time. For example XMG, no need to be a genius for see whats its coming..... new wallet last month, new road map around the corner,  anonymity maybe and more advances, clean the op, working on miners, and more, all days more miners show up on xmg pools, so this coin no need to be trooling because is real devs working on it, and the coin move obviously to  the
