Maybe the reason is the average volume of last 4 months were very small, which caused this delist. Accept or not, this is the reality. The main point isn't whether the decision was correct or not, or whether we agree or not, rather the issue is with how the decision was implemented. major pumps + late night announcement + crashes in all the affected coins That's the issue. The issue is the damage suffered by Poloniex's customers. Their customers' best interests were not protected, rather it looks more like they were raped by the exchange itself. Without a doubt, that is what things look like on the surface, and this needs to be documented and followed up on to either confirm or debunk that supposition. (BTW, almost as an aside since this has to do with the decision itself, what about FLO, GRC, NAV, NEOS, NMC, OMNI, RADS, VRC for example? Their volume seems as low as or even lower than some of the de-listed coins. Nevertheless, this is anecdotal, since the real issue is the damaged suffered as a result of how Poloniex handled the implementation.)

All this looks indeed like something premeditated. Since the release of the new wallet the price was growing steadily and suddenly *boom*: the announcement it's going to be delisted and (I don't want to debate it was before the announcement or after) the huge dump. What I want to say is that not only Poloniex customers were affected. The shock wave have hit all the exchanges (and I guess that the quicker ones made some easy money buying @ Polo and selling on all the other exchanges). The coin is good, there's active development on it, so with or without Poloniex the coin has still a great potential. But also I think that instead of searching who's guilty for what we should indeed act and try to keep the coin at Poloniex, since this gives people more trust in the coin.

We can only try to keep Magi on Polo. In the mean time we will continue working on the future of Magi.

Yes but personal this hurts because we don't know the exact reason.
You are right - I feel with you there - I also didn't hear that Polo changed their mind about a coin before - no harm in trying though... Actually we still have a chance. Everybody with account on Polo should create support ticket asking why they are delisting xmg. I will do it later today. As we can see they sometimes change their mind. For us Xmg community it doesnt matter if Xmg is on Polo or not. But it is important for potential new community members. Right words xinwao. The more support tickets the better.

Yeah, I do agree the the delisting of this coin makes no sense, as it is being actively developed and has some great features. I think maybe the decision to delist was made last year some time, but they didn't take the recent rise in popularity into account unfortunately. I would say that the coin is undervalued at this point. If we can get requests up to a critical mass, we may be able to get them to lift the delist. Has that ever happened before?

I hope I wrote it right: https://twitter.com/neuro_fish/status/855050962947493890I'll try to make more tweets on this. I'm sure the community has many members active on twitter too, keep in mind it's an useful tool for such actions.

I sent a ticket to Polo
"Magi coin has an active development team and community of users. It also has an unique algorithm thats resistant to large mining whales. If pascalcoin can be listed, I believe Magi Coin deserves a spot. Please reconsider!"
I will be looking to re-buy after this dust settles, because tbh delisting seems like a death notice atleast for the short-term.

So its a big guess why!

Hi XMS, At this moment Magi did not receive a message from Poloniex. So its a big guess why! When you look at Polo and sort on volume, it is clear while XMG and other coins are delisted. Most of the delisting coins are in the range of lowest volumes. I guess Polo only wants coins with bigger volume. (and for them bigger profit)

That's the issue. The issue is the damage suffered by Poloniex's customers. Their customers' best interests were not protected, rather it looks more like they were raped by the exchange itself.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but then they go and say you're right and re-list and the price goes back up to where it was and panic sellers from before now ask themselves who made all the money on the recovery rally. - suddenly *boom*: the announcement it's going to be delisted : the huge dump : re-list : huge rally Customers get f_€ked at every turn. And now they've painted you into a damned if you do and damned if you don't corner. This shit can't go unchecked!

How do we know this isn't the weirdo bankers themselves running this? II can't even scroll on Polo half the time and other half the wallets are disabled! DE is where all the major banks are located in the USA. I was very hesitant when I saw that. Just be careful with Polo

Don't think its a very professional way for an exchange to act - cex.io did the same and ended up in a pretty big mess and lost a lot of their reputation. Bittrex at least issue a warning if the volume drops too low.
