Looks like volume has dropped a bit on the remaining exchanges since polo went - any idea how we can drum up a bit more awareness of the coin?

I want to start some sort of online market that only accepts XMG as payment.

Also got a more ambitious project which is to start  a magi faucet.

Magi pls help me... How do I know if my solominer is effectivly mining? i got earnings but idk if its from solo mining or stake thing, im new to magi and i still dont knowmuch about it (will try to read the 700+ pages but abitbusy rn)

gethashespersec report 0. i can understand this if the miner doesnt report what is doing. but how can i set it up so it does? its not too much important but it allows me to know via RPC if any of my miners is down without having to manually check.

If you want to solo mine with the wallet use : setgenerate true.
Then, if you use gethashespersec you see your hashes.

In your pictures you see the staking info.  (staking wil be usefull above 5K coins, in blocks of 500)
I assume the dos window is your local (?) cpu miner.

Better idea, go into supernova pool (or another) and go poolmining with cpu miner.

I understant now. gethashespersec will just display what the wallet is working at.
Altho, cpu is at max usage and gethashespersec only shows around 35% the hashrate minerd does. So no point mining with the wallet.

You say I need alot more coins for the staking, that means the 16 XMG i generated was from my solo mining which implies my miners are working just fine so im happy now (:

I did mine 40 XMG at Suprnova now i want to try solomining and see what i like more, im hoping for higher hashrate from solo since i dont need to communicate each of my devices to the stratum.(only small gain but w/e :d ), also if the statum gets laggy i surely will lose efficiency.

Im good at doing origami. So my first idea was to sell some of my origami works but soon i realized it wasnt going to be easy because worldwide shipping is kind of expensive. So i came up with a second idea which is to start some sort of art gallery and offer detailed instructions on "how to do it myself". I could charge a small amount of money for this so anyone could mine a few coins or just buy some at an exchange.

I think Magi will keep growing steadily after this blip - nice little rise today, hopefully the non-trex markets will start to gain a bit more volume over the next weeks
