bitcoin price is all over the place these days - I've been hovering around and under my investment target for the last three weeks but have never been there for more than a few hours...

I think ICO collected btcs are not dumped today so btc start to rise again. Today is all about EOS tokens dumping by smart/big investors half bil$ dumped with 15X gain in a day.

Wow whats the reason for that? Personal i don't know EOS. Is that currency dying? There must be a reason why so many people are dumping EOS? Would be nice of all those smart/big investors join in Magi  (XMG)!

i dont know if EOS will rise or fall but it is smart to get out with 15X gain especially for big investors, small investors will wait for jackpot and probably burn but big ones already got jackpot with 15X gain in just 1 day, there was some talk about huge dumping of ICO collected BTCs and ETHS last 2 weeks by ICOs like Tezos, EOS... who collected hundreds of milions$ in them.

Hmm i noticed that. Started to read something about it.
Personal i don't like ICO very much. It gives high expectations and not many coins has the power to deliver what they say. Besides that you have also ICO's only used for collecting BTC and run!

I do... Works as expected. Gives me abt 7kh/s on my older android  phone. Will not get rich out of it. But fun way to kill time while charging.

God... This miners need optimization ASAP. Per Core performance on my 6700K is worse than on Haswell based Pentium. Now 3 Pentiums, with a price of maybe 210$ gives the same amount of hash rate like a 350$ i7. I tried the "i7" version, but it's only worse. The generic one is best so far.

There is not much gain going from 4th gen i7 up to 7th gen i7 in a real world, same is with mining m7m algo, higher clock and more cores will give u more hash. 6700k have turbo at 4.2 and 4790k have 4.4 and performing little bit better. But i agree there is no much difference between avx,avx2,generic miners only 1-2 kh. Best you can do with i7 is delid watercool and push to 4.8 where 4790k and 6700k will perform almost the same and i7 7700k will give you few more hash. AMDs like 8320/50 at 4.8 will be really close to all i7 and reach 100-105 kh depends on how optimized is your OS. Now if new pom starts in near future on pom pool where maximum hash would be 250khash per user, one ryzen 1800x would be best option to mine.
I hope green mining pom will be next pom where android, laptop and raspberry pi miners will be rewarded more than huge hashers to spread Magi more evenly.

what haswell is that, does it have hyperthreading, if your haswell have 2 cores or 4 withought hyperthereading and you put t2 or t4 in bat file you are hashing with full core, and if you put t8 on 6700k you are hashing with one thread 1/2 of core so 6700k is 26khash per core, 13 per thread and haswell pentium 15 per core. Post your bat file and name of pentium so we can know more.  Skylake is only 5% faster per clock than dc haswell anyway

Yeah. Magi is still in its early days, as it is subject for growth in the long term. Current prices are still cheap, as I believe that Magi will be worth $1 USD and beyond.

Among the many altcoins in existence, I've found out Magi to be the easiest one to mine with a CPU. I can use virtually any device and start mining Magi easily, in contrast to other coins which would take me hours to mine some real coins.

Within a few days mining on my PC, I was able to make nearly 1 XMG, so I will keep at it to hold them into my wallet for staking. Also, I'm buying some Magi coins to store them on a paper wallet for future reference. You'll never know when you've accumulated too many Magi coins that would be worth a fortune in the future.

Its funny business on exchanges right now, daily traders bots are ruining stable growth + panicking holders. I rather wait and buy more when Magi show healthy grow with small lost or if this panic dump continue at this rate price could drop even lower and that could be the right time.

Yes. It's great to experience these dumps sometimes, as it would allow you to take advantage of the opportunity to get cheap coins and profit when the prices jumps back in. I'm always checking the markets for quick changes in Magi's price to get ahold of more coins for my wallet to stake.

Nevertheless, I hope that XMG would continue to grow until it reaches $1 USD and beyond. Things will be very exciting once it reaches those levels, for those who have invested earlier into Magi.

Same here and i did it long time ago, before i knew it has no use to mine with that kind of hashpower and i took down most of the cpu`s spread over a couple pools
