FYI: A link that works is here (although I know that's for the zip version rather than the setup): -

Magi is 3 years old now & will only get better!
In Mai this year Magi was around 30 cent only for one hours or so.
I missed that opportunity, I would definitely have sold all my Magi for that price.
Nowadays Magi is almost 35 cent and no one wants to sell their Magi, including me.
Very strange  Cry

Yes thats right. Might be because people knows Magi continues being a long-term currency. Magi has still moments and than suddenly awesome improvements show up. After that value will raise step by step followed with the next still period. And so on & on. Roadmap shows great developments so people has no rush selling their XMG.

Hello all,

I am new to mining. I have started mining using a pool and see these numbers "Est. Shares this round: XXXXXX (done YYY.YY%)." What are the reasons of the percentage continuously being over 100%? This seems to me, that the mining is inefficient. Sorry if my English is bad.

Thank you,

akkon

the last upgrade changed some parameters to Pos and Pow which is making estimates overblown. It should be corrected on the next upgrade but for now it will display wrong values. It is similar in all pools. value i think is 4x higher than it should be.

Hey kids, just dropped in to see if the current madness has made CPU mining back into a thing.  Oh hell, let's get to the point..  THREADRIPPER IS A MONSTER, AT 3.8 GHZ I GET 460 kh/s AND COULD MINE AT 4.1 GH EAZY!

...but I won't.  Although the lure of a whole 3-4 dollars a day is enticing, I think I'll be having my baby crunch away at something a bit more rewarding.... 3D psychedelic fractal videos for the music industry.

I'd just like to thank the Dev because mining Magi in no small part got me the $150 in 1 sat shit-coins that became the long-shot bet (Ldoge!) that became this beautiful chip, board and ram.  In all seriousness, my thanks.

Haha, congratulations at getting your hardware - LDOGE is always worth a bet - I still have a few million of those waiting to piggyback on the next DOGE pump. Price is down to 1sat again now

Hello again,

I have read paper by Joe that says optimal network hash rate is 48 mh/s, however cuurent rate is much higher. Is there a method that lowers this rate, or we assume some miners will leave, reducing the rate?

Some miners will leave because the blockrewards will be lower when big hashrate will join in. If i'am correct Joe posted some time ago he will work on improvements and developments about this & more.
