How It Works

• The "bridge" consists of two addresses where SHITCOINs are locked, safeguarded by our advanced proprietary technologies: one Dogecoin address and one Ethereum address.

Are There Any Risks Involved?

Yes! SHITCOIN could go to zero at any time. Additionally, there's a chance that our DAO loses access to the bridge address private keys, or I steal the bridged tokens, or that an appointed treasurer steals them. Basically, you'll have to just trust us. We feel this "manual bridge" approach reflects the purity of the SHITCOIN ethos, and we probably won't change it any time soon.

That's actually far less than were sold on the Dogeparty side, as strange as it may sound.

I learned a few important things about how liquidity pools work, at the cost of about $800... Its been quite a boot camp, "out of the frying pan, into the fire"-type experience.

The hardest part is marketing to the ETH people, and watching massive price differentials open up between the Dogeparty and Ethereum sides. You'd think this would create some kind of arbitrage opportunity and spur SHITCOIN holders into action, and indeed a few bridgers did take advantage of it. Would be much more compelling to ETH people if the price on Uniswap actually dropped lower than on Dogeparty, even if it wipes out all my ETH liquidity in the process.

Here's an update on the state of SHITCOIN, and a justification for why it rules (tl;dr: we're the best 'memecoin'):

Whats kind of funny is I'm primarily trying to market attraction to the ERC-20 version of the token, but meanwhile way more sales have been happening on the Dogeparty ($DOGE) side of thing:



I recently rebought 10k at the price I was selling them at, which is once again the floor price (currently 10838 left at that price).

Shitcoin is the best memecoin. I can testify to it. If you don't know, the project has made a name for itself within and outside the forum. I am a proud holder of it.

The idea behind "historical tokens" is that back in the day (2014-2016) not a whole lot of them were being made, so they are scarce, which makes them collectible -- especially if they have a good story behind them. Only now that 10 years have gone by are these things of significant age, and its something to help differentiate them from the never-ending flood of new shit that comes out on an hourly basis.

Long after the current memecoin's budget dried up - the creator sold all their tokens & the community abandoned ship - SHITCOIN will still be here. It's a testament to the commitment of the Dogecoin blockchain, part of a legacy immortalized in timestamps, and it harkens back to a simpler time when someone could create a token named SHITCOIN and have it be the first one.

I'm trying to hold a ShitcoinDAO board member election and I can't get at least 4 people to be on the board, at least for the moment, but uh, things are still coming along. Nothing stops this Shitcoin Train.

Very funny. The idea is cool, another meme coin, however I don't like investing in itself, because as you already know I'm boring when it comes to these things, I like the value proposition. But if it has a good development, it will probably bring good profits to the developers if it works.

The value proposition behind SHITCOIN is that its collectible as a "historical token". Why? Because:

1. There's an emerging market for crypto collectibles,

3. SHITCOIN is one of the oldest collectible shit tokens (aka memecoins), and
4. It's called SHITCOIN.

Can you imagine that? Like a good 2 years before the world really started churning out shit tokens like there's no tomorrow. And we're now on an exponential curve that is approaching infinity new tokens created per second.

We were at the start of it all, baby. We were out there, on the streets, in the trenches. Makin' memecoins and NFTs before they were even a thing.

And the crypto culture, tech, and acceptance as a utility has evolved so much over the last decade that... well you know what, it hasn't evolved at all. I launched Shitcoin before doge at an attempt to mock and warn the many upcoming trash coins and their developers and potential buyers who would just blindly buy anything.

Vlad2Vlad was the first to launch an actual coin named "ShitCoin". It was a full-on coin with its own blockchain.

AFAIK, the only actual connection between Vlad's ShitCoin and the Solana token is Vlad said "OK my coin is now this token." Meanwhile my SHITCOIN token has a continuous on-chain history from its launch to today.

Well I got ahead of myself. For transparency, I know there is actually 1 memetoken (with any kind of circulation since its creation) that predates SHITCOIN, by 2 days, and that is BACON.

BACON = Protein + FAT
But why get into BACON? Currently, it is the second most popular token on Dogeparty, with over 240 transactions and almost 170 asset holders as of this moment. Once the Descentralized Exchage from Dogeparty (DEX) gets online, BACON will likely be one of the tokens with the biggest volume of transactions.

Good luck on getting your hands on one for cheap though. The lowest price is currently 275 DOGE (about $100).

These two tokens are two of the earliest memetokens ever created; if not THE earliest.
