The account is worth more than 0.60 BTC and I feel a sense of "so many memories, I can't lose the account" type feeling. A lot of people know me by this account. Also, the loan that I "defaulted" on isn't as clearcut as you think - the guy sent me an extra unagreed upon 2 BTC. I repaid the agreed upon 2 BTC loan, not 4 BTC agreed on. A month later, I offer to pay him the extra 2 BTC in USD equivalent (BTC had gone from $125 to $500) but he refused to accept my offer for $275 ($250 + 10% interest as a nice gesture). To this day that offer remains on the table but he only will accept his 2 BTC back which I feel is absurd, he is the one who made the mistake of sending 2 payments of 2 BTC not me. I did trades for as much as $5000 and escrows for as much as $7500 back in the day never an issue never a scam or default or whatever.

I am using the 0.55 to invest in an alt coin that I know is having big information come out Monday evening / Tuesday morning. I am planning on it jumping by quite a bit at that time. I am already trying to buy the amount of BTC but so far no luck. By the end of the week I will have the BTC at the rate I want or just give in and pay the dumb bitstamp +5% standard buying rate to pay the loan back.
