Probably, that’s what all the signs are pointing to right now, although it’s already been getting pumped a lot so I’m not 100% sure that it will continue for all that long until it stabilizes a bit.

Not this either.

For all we know only a few handful of people bought in stock this week(Most of it), and plan on dumping HARD so price crashes, then pump up again to the prices they previously bought at or a little higher.
That way they get the reward of up to 100 XMR, investment from first pump realized trough dump and a lot of XMR cheap after that dump again that probably is going to be traded for BTC once all this is over.

It is fun, I try to do it when I have some spare time during the day. It's not easy to watch charts for 18hrs a day tho. I think Monero will jump higher then it is now just give it some time.

i have it like this:

i have my invesments for mid-long term, time to time i do daytrade (but only when i want), potential gains i'm transfering to fiat and enjoying life
lossess are covered by long term hodling anyways

thankfully i had no major losess.

I still cannot fully understand the reason behind the recent run for all the anonymous cryptos, is there a huge demand for  anonymous  currencies or just usual  hype? they has been around for quite some time now.

I think part of it is that people are starting to realize that privacy is not just for criminals. It's a good thing for everyone.

Maybe you want to give to a perfectly legal cause, but you'd potentially have serious negative social and professional consequences if that donation was found to have come from you (this has happened to people on both sides of the political spectrum). With Monero, this can't happen since it's truly private.

Or maybe the clerk you just paid $5 in BTC (or any other public blockchain) looks up your BTC address and sees that you have a large sum of money attached to that address and decides to pay you a visit later with a monkey wrench and a blowtorch to get your private key and/or password. With Monero, this can't happen since it's truly private.

People knowing how much money you have or how you've spent that money can lead to bad things even though you did nothing illegal or immoral. Monero keeps your financial information safe, and that can also keep you safe.
