Not really, most days xmr has been just as red. And the big difference is that all those other coins are winding down from the spring 2017 alt bonanza.
Guess which coin wasn't invited.

Market is down across the board, this dump is not some kind of prophetic prediction about XMR on your behalf, maybe consider that before you celebrate. XMR is down less than:
* ETH * ZEC * LTC * DASH * BCH etc etc Everyone here doesn't give af what you think, as they have no respect for you. All true. But... Please don't feed the trolls. |

Dude, I just now noticed that and came here to ask questions about lending. (I've never checked out loaning rates before, but have heard they were dirt cheap, hence all the shorters dragging the price down. But as I watched, before my eyes, the last fraction of monero lending for 0.0001% or something like that got picked up. Now the lending rates are all 0.4%+. That's a big jump. Do you guys recommend lending, especially at these rates, or is it just better to keep your moneros off the exchange? Double edge sword, gives shorters liquidity and you make a small %. Or you keep your coins away and shooters get wrecked when it rises. Personally I would never add liquidity to lending. Well, if you want to short by yourself, you could add liquidity    Wtf would I short XMR ? ETH is the only coin for shorting now You can short every coin mate |

Monero is one of only 3 projects, of the top 20, that are in full compliance with FINCEN and SEC rules. The other two being Bitcoin and Litecoin. Aminorex's predictions for the following year are starting to sound more and more likely.

koreans have another 24h till 2nd event ends. They might dump after it or just about around end time of that event -> just to make another bunch of trades which will counts to total score.
dip could be impressive, but will not last for long imo

Bitcoin and Litecoin are almost identical, there's no major innovation vs Bitcoin when it comes to Litecoin. Plus, no one uses Litecoin, it is now used only for speculation. Monero on the other hand does have major innovation over Bitcoin when it comes to privacy, it is private out of the box, no mixing needed plus it has practical uses. The only thing holding Monero back right now is the easy of use, it is not simple. I've been in crypto $ for about 5 years and cryptography since the early 1990's and I find Monero hard to use. BUT all of this will change as soon as someone makes an efficient and easy to use wallet app for Monero, then we will see Monero go to the moon in a matter of days/weeks. A wallet app for Monero efficient like Mycelium for Bitcoin, is that too much to ask for?!?! Make it happen, and watch it go over $1000/XMR. |

That's incorrect. The link you posted is an unofficial implementation. That's just some random guy who wants funds to create unofficial Monero firmware for the Ledger hardware wallet. It has nothing to do with Ledger's official integration of Monero into the Ledger Nano S and Ledger Blue. |
