So if dash has 4000 nodes (dont know the exact number) and each requires 1000 dash to run, does that mean 4 million out of 7, is not in the market and its way less liquid than it seems? If that is the case, no wonder it jumps so rapid

I said 0.02 busstop. Noone listens...

You throw numbers around like your words, badly. Where you see precision, I see contradiction. Like a near-sighted cyclops who can paint, he's a genius among his peers (and in his own eye), but a master of splat to anyone with depth perception.

Speculation thread and noone does analysis. The end of crypto speculation is very near!

speculation
ˌspɛkjʊˈleɪʃn/Submit
noun
1.
the forming of a theory or conjecture without firm evidence.

Nomore moroneros even define their own economy bible! Let me quote wikipedia for you total moronero.
Quote
Speculation is the purchase of an asset (a commodity, goods, or real estate) with the hope that it will become more valuable at a future date. In finance, speculation is also the practice of engaging in risky financial transactions in an attempt to profit from short term fluctuations in the market value of a tradable financial instrument—rather than attempting to profit from the underlying financial attributes embodied in the instrument such as capital gains, dividends, or interest.

Many speculators pay little attention to the fundamental value of a security and instead focus purely on price movements. Speculation can in principle involve any tradable good or financial instrument.

And you know what? Do not tell me that is wiki. I know you have your own holy book. Like quran or other bullshit. And like fanatics you ignore the facts.

Close, I have actually learned in my life to ignore utter pricks. I make my own decisions and stand by the outcomes.

What will be will be.

WTF just happened to Dash?

Actually something very interesting.

Dash Core 0.12.2.1 Release Announcement
Please Update !
(All Wallets , Miners , Pools, Masternodes,…)

Downloads:
https://www.dash.org/wallets/

Notes:
https://github.com/dashpay/dash/releases/tag/v0.12.2.1
(CPU spikes)

Update Details:
https://dashpay.atlassian.net/wiki/x/ZIBlBw

Dashman not working imo - will be fixed soon !

The interesting part is here. https://github.com/dashpay/dips/blob/master/dip-0001.md In particular:
Quote
Expected activation conditions.

Given that bit1 will be 0 if mined by a non-DIP1 miner this actually targets activation in the following cases.

    >=80% of mining power and 100% of masternodes

OR

    >= 89.5% of mining power and >= 89.5% of masternodes

OR

100% of mining power and >= 80% of masternodes

In any case, activation is highly unlikely without at least 80% of miners and 80% of masternodes
From the above dashpay github

Basically a Bitcoin style blocksize increase (from 1 MB to 2 MB) consensus process over a year with acceptance from both the miners and the masternodes.

Edit: Dash is trying to scale in order to try to compete with Monero.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

Deleted post by stolen account (along with replies). Please do not post in this thread using that account.

7   Monero $1.883.165.120   $122.73   $136.637.000   15.344.342 XMR

forks is always good. bad even though the price is always pumped up. if bitcoin the drastic decline slightly softened, we can see xmr price 200 $. Smiley

WTF just happened to Dash?
Bithumb is pumping.
By the way, Monero is $147 on Bithumb right now.

There is proof that Bithumb allows 0-fee transactions.
It looks like this was used for the BCH pump too.
So, although it saddens me, I would not trust the prices and volumes at Bithumb, no matter we discuss about XMR, DASH or BCH.
I attached a resized copy of the proof.

@NeuroticFish

0% maker fee isn't really a big deal, and not uncommon. It just means that the other side of the trade is paying more of the total fee on the trade. What matters (with respect to wash trading) is whether the sum of both sides is zero. I have no idea whether that exists on Bitthumb but the screen shot doesn't show it.

Community 60%? That's bullshit man! I want to see how they pull those numbers.

Looks like we're pegged at $125 or there about this time.
