a new upward trend caught on. in the coming days will continue. The $ 150 level will be on top of? In 2018 $ 250.

what's the price going to be by dec. 31?

will we see $200?

Someone should make a thread where we guess exact prize.

I am quite certain price will go over USD ATH before the end of the year. If it will go beyond to $200 is also possible but that is not so sure thing anymore. If it will stay above $200 on Dec.31?  I would give 25% chance to that.

Given the absence of any market-influencing news of late, this recent price increase is both surprising and welcome (well, a rise in price is always welcome). Given, also, that long-awaited announcements have still to come (light wallets, MS and Globee), and should come soon,  I'm feeling surprisingly optimistic for Christmas.

There are people in this thread who have lost more value in dust and misplaced private keys than you will ever see in total in your entire miserable life.

Not to mention the vasty deep losses in boating accidents.

I was on a boat between Maui and Molokai last week.  I foolishly leaned over the edge and *ploop*.  My cryptosteel went down to the depths.

When will I learn?
You know, the old lady in Titanic (who used to be Kate Winslet) threw a valuable diamond necklace called The Heart of the Ocean overboard on purpose.
You see it plop into the water and go swirling down.
I would like to see a Monero meme with that scene, where, instead of The Heart of the Ocean, she throws a usb flash drive overboard.  You see the flash drive plop into the bounding main and go swirling down, down, down into the vasty deep.

While BTC swings on waves in fork ocean no more $160-170. $200 unlikely. But I believe that XMR is undervalued coin and growth unavoidable. Time only

Looks hacked to me. The language seems different (misusing words like "loose"), and I doubt that AP needs to be wasting time with earnings from a signature campaign.

I know another guy who frequently misuses "loose" and posts here as well, maybe there's a connection or a conspiracy! Anyone care to speculate?

Ah - I spoke to soon.  Hacked accounts abound, it may be so.... I hope not, but I fear you may well be right.

https://github.com/Bitcoin-ABC/bitcoin-abc and have fun downloading the full bitcoin blockchain, then just import your private keys.

Personally I would (and did) move my paper wallets to new ones first.  Then put the private keys into the BCH wallet.

I would not copy the private keys of bitcoin addresses that have BTC in them into any non airgapped device and expect them to remain safe.  If you empty the HTC from them first, then the BCH is still on those addresses.

You don't need to sync. Move Bitcoin to new addresses, then import old private keys in electrum cash wallet.

In last couple months there was traded $5 Billions of Monero. You expect there is someone here who can  depress  Monero price? This is not 2014 anymore.  And I doubt Saudis or Rothschild's care for crypto much.
Actually question when they will start caring bothers me last few months. If Rothschild's knew before King of England that Napoleon lost at Waterloo, how the hell Bitcoin could slip their eyes.

Last developers meting: https://monerobase.com/wiki/DevMeeting_2017-11-19

One thing for what Monero needs solutions is transaction size. Seems we have quite good solution that will save us a lot.

The MRL team has thoroughly investigated BulletProofs
<sarang> They should function as essentially a drop-in replacement that is 10% the size of the original proofs (for one output; even smaller for multiple outputs)
<sarang> with about the same verification time; possibly a teensy bit faster

This is a really good news.
