I firmly believe XMR is undervalued after working with it on FreeBitcoins. If Bitcoin is $13k.... XMR should be $1k-$5k IMO. I think that is lowballing it too. People coming into Bitcoin are actually all mostly going to be XMR's in the future. It's a better choice for most people who are interested in "Bitcoin". Excuse me WO, I need to borrow this. Couldn't agree more. I never really understood how other privacy coins keep getting love but Monero's always the quiet one, almost to my uneducated observation the Bitcoin of the alts. Just working and improving, and getting stronger in fundamentals. Once Bitcoin people (those who ignore all the noise trading) make up their minds about privacy, it's Monero all the way. |

Transactions stabilizing at a higher rate (only 5 days of October remaining, on track for 20-30% increase over ATH monthly transactions despite the fork wobble, and already well into a new record) hash rate seems to have found a lower equilibrium around the pre-spike area of +1.5Gh/s. $price doesn't seem interested in going much lower. All in all, barring a huge BTC spike, I'm losing confidence in the downside, short term. The ham fisted buys on binance from time to time keep pumping. My interest in clearing a little spending money @ $200CAD is waning as we work the 170-180 range  Might just wait for $ATH. Or $2kCAD #johnalan |

In fact I almost posted a shot of the third column.. teehee. Anyway what do you think of that?  I am starting to wonder if White House Market is influencing Monroes price somewhat. I believe Maximalists (a larger percentage) are finally getting it through their heads that bitcoin will never be fungible and are taking appropriate steps. This is also a possibility. I have been saying for six years that Monero and Bitcoin have a symbiotic relationship not a competitive one. They do distinct things. Honestly, the atomic swap implementation, if done well at all, will be a game changer bigger than the gui, multi sig, etc. Lol. -EDIT- Looking at all alts today it's a bloodbath... looks like stonks. I would really love to see this become more common and less anomaly. We will see.  |
