Closing in on 3 minutes of lag, countdown until MTGOX goes offline again, I sure am glad they left a message on facebook though, that was really helpful

History likes to repeat itself? You are using completely different units for them.

You are using completely different units for them. The timeframe is the same. I meant the percentage of growth in the first one is outrageous, while that of the second one is much smaller. And either by absolute or relative growth it's the auto-adjustment of bitcoinchart that gives them green candles roughly the same length.

You are using completely different units for them. The timeframe is the same. The concept "sucker rally" was invented for those placing bets on the bounce back in 1926. That name was of course first used after black Thursday three years later. I'm joining the church of Adam from here on!

You really need to use percentage of variation to get some perspectives. A $1 movement at Nov. 2011was the greatest price crash-down ever, while the same movement today can't even allow a small-time daytrader to take profits(two 0.6% fees = 1.2%*$140=$1.68)

The way I see it is that the market was relatively thin back in 2011. Now there's more liquidity, so it won't spike as much during a bubble. IMO we're in the "return to normal" stage now.

In bitcoin, we have what we call "sucker crashes"

eveybody speculating, want an educated guess? (leaning out the window here)herefor I predict; - another dip to ~120/119 (if not deeper) within less than 48 hours - a surprisingly stable weekend - a new ath not before tomorrow afternoon (GMT) - but neither later then next week wednesday let my will happen! edit: $/ BTC-ratio down to 139 / btc-china @ 939 CNY...

In bitcoin, we have what we call "sucker crashes" LOL, that's was a god one. I guess that we both have placed our bets on this one! If Im wrong, good for Bitcoin, if I'm right I can still buy a small island like this one: https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQHoJNbLlgh1_BdclkMrhQJR61b70XEgzj1WJh0qii8kF3h04pP

This is probable as it would follow the pattern set the last few weeks.
