It seems like DDOS, but they aren't able to generate lag to bring on the panic. Trade engine fine, website unaccessible.

The lag seemed to get killed after 30-40 minutes, and it was breezy. But then... gone.
It was climbed back up to 110 before freezing. Clarkmoody was dead under 100 before that for me.

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable. Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

bitcoin: too big to fail? Nothing wrong with bitcoin. Its the shitty centralized exchanges. And the fact they are run by clowns. They need to be burned with fire.

Yeah you can bet exchanges on Wall street are under non-stop attack and yet they run fine. This isn't magic, I do hosting for a living and we have data centers all over the world. One on wall street just for zero latency. These guys are pathetic.
