This is unfortunately true. Just because you control a bitcoin address with 7+ BTC in it does not mean that you will actually spend it.

I also think the method that participants were selected was somewhat sketchy.

Rules:

• My decision in any dispute will be final. I reserve the right to refuse any candidate a place.

You will be disqualified if:

• Post majority of posts in one section.

You have no trading history, funds should be placed with a trusted third party escrow, this will ensure that participants will be treated fairly and will be paid when they provide advertising.

I would also think that it would be expected for the majority of user's posts to be in one section. This is how people tend to post, also the majority of posts are in the bitcoin discussion section, therefore logically most posts will be in that section.  

The campaign users will not be paid if monthly payments are done. Are you all that dumb? Carra is a brand new escrow, probably a purchased Hero Account.

Its not a problem, but he might get a more lucrative campaign by then. Bit-x.com is starting up, and redsn0w posts a lot to make a bigger income from pay per post campaigns.

You can update as soon as you add the signature. So you get more time to complete the 50 posts.

If I get enough participants doubting the funds, I will get some other escrow. To me it looks redundant as if I can be trusted to hand back the amount, I can be trusted to pay out; but nevertheless I would not want this to cause participants worry.

No plans now unless Eric decides later to put more funds in. The amount I have now covers all the payment if the maximum is hit.

I have given some priority to all those who applied right at the start in the original thread yesterday, and then tried to get the best posters. Ideally I would like to select only the best ones, but I had to honour the initial announcement yesterday which allowed reservations, so did a compromise in the end.

Keep in mind that the posts will be judged strictly based on the rules in OP. If you unnecessarily try to get to 100 posts and end up losing quality I may not renew you for next term and instead offer it to other members.

I am the campaign manager/escrow. I have already received the funds (check 2nd post of this thread).
Some were uneasy with me holding the funds; well at this point I already hold the funds so if I were to run, I would not be putting in the effort to manage this campaign.

Just to refute your point...
An escrow is supposed to be a trusted third party. In this case, even if you do hold the funds, people cannot be sure that you are not connected to Cryptomine.io. So if you chose to run with the money, you gain nothing but lose out on advertising. If you chose to run this campaign and then not pay out at the end, you get free advertising and you get to retain your money.

This is not personal, but just for argument's sake.
