Why do islam hates people?

When did a belief or a religion started hating people? It's not a religion worth following if you end up hating people. Islam is about loving people and being at peace with all. The same as with Christianity. I doubt Islam would start teaching their followers to hate people. Maybe it's the extremists that hate non-believers. Extremists are the ones that show hostility and violence against people who are not of the same religion.

Dorsa Derakhshani refused to wear the headscarf, known as the hijab, during the Tradewise Gibraltar Chess tournament in February, and joined the U.S. national team.

Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran has required women to wear the hijab in public places.

Dorsa’s registration has been altered on the world governing body Fide’s website and the switch to the United States Chess Federation confirmed by the president of Iran’s chess federation, Mehrdad Pahlevanzadeh.

Zakir Naik is one of the worst hatemongers in South Asia. He is still on the wanted list of both the Indian and Bangladeshi police departments, for his alleged involvement in many terrorist incidents. Well, that actually makes a lot of sense. Although some of the Muslims do not rejoice and are appalled, many do. And those that do not rejoice often engage in denial that it's muslims that do the attacks.

I can tell you that you are 100% right. When the 9/11 attacks occurred many of my Muslims friends couldn't hide their glee. They were saying that the Americans got the punishment for waging war against the Muslims. I asked them what did the innocent civilians did to the Muslims? And also, a large number of those who died in those attacks were not Americans.
