Some huge buys at https://yobit.net/en/trade/ICN/BTC what's up? There's been some huge profits (like 100x and 1000x - ChainCoin and ExclusiveCoin for example) lately with older coins where the dev team has woken up from hiatus and a big portion of the coins have been lost. Maybe iCoin could be next? Might not be that bad of an idea to get 0.1 BTC worth now for the odd chance it does go 100x+.

Hello,
Very interesting market. Looks like there are less than 700K ICN on the sell order book. This could be fun.
Best Regards, -Chicago

Hi Sinpey, Thanks for your contribution there -- hopefully this activity on YoBit is a good catalyst for us. Difficulty is over 9.9 right now, with 566.9MH/sec on the chain. Best Regards, -Chicago

Hello,
The chain is moving again now too. After that buy the other day, our difficulty skyrocketed to 12 and stuck at one block for a very long time and then due to the KGW implementation the next block's difficulty was 30. Anyhow, I throw an ASIC at it for a while and we're moving now.
Difficulty is currently 3.44 and I see there are other miners active presently.
Best Regards, -Chicago

Hello,
I would like to join iCoin community and help you to push this coin forward, guys. I think this coin has a really great potential and if we work together iCoin will reach $1 in a while... What do you need? How can I support you?

Hi Jasty, At a minimum, the community will need to agree to change from Kimoto's Gravity Well to another modern difficulty adjustment algorithm which resists the timewarp attack. Dark Gravity Wave v3 will do this but will require a hard fork. Beyond that very specific change; we will need to rebuild the Linux/OS X/Windows wallets; which isn't a big deal. We will also need to have full-node support on IPv4/IPv6/Tor with some proper seeds. Are you able to contribute towards those technical changes? I can provide some guidance but do not have the time right now to do all of it until some immediate current projects reach a logical breaking point. Best Regards, -Chicago

Meanwhile I have exchanged some PMs with Sinpey - as I know he has built three servers. We should be in close touch. Best Regards, Jasty

...change from Kimoto's Gravity Well to another modern difficulty adjustment algorithm which resists the timewarp attack. Dark Gravity Wave v3 will do this but will require a hard fork.
I'll try to get more familiar with Dark Gravity. Hi Jasty, If you look at the history of Darkcoin/Dash, you'll see their developer, Evan, spent quite a bit of time coding up Dark Gravity Wave. Without citing a quote, you'll have to trust me he said he had spent 12 hours a day for three weeks on it. It solves problems we experience right now with iCoin. One example is if you happen to look at the current block and then see a high difficulty -- you might notice the block number doesn't increment for a few days... and then if you throw hash at it, the next block is even more difficult. This is system emergence from Kimoto's Gravity Well and we can do better to keep the blocks moving regularly. Remember, no new blocks means no new transactions for getting into and out of an exchange. Best Regards, -Chicago

Hi, just a short update. Not an easy task to implement new algorithm, I'm dealing with just during my free time, but I think we succeed - Sinpey thx for your support. Does anybody know if iCoin's Facebook or Twitter accounts exist? Just use them for hiring and smarter info updating Regards, Jasty
