There was never double payment on Table Starter and Krill rakeback. It was always the higher of the two percentages, and it still is. Management is not "ghost" they're here and  working hard to fix what's wrong.

Other than cancelling tournaments, what the fuck are they doing exactly?  Are they invisible?  Do they have tongues?  

I haven't heard a word from these fuckers in months.

I feel the project is only a side project for them, like just paying the hosting and the domain fees. They probably have given up on running it as a professional site. I literally haven't heard a word from them since th e beginning.

Sherbyspark you have a good point here: seems like a quite reasonable explanation of their really unique and weird  behaviour (theft of keyboards is the only other explanation I can give myself).

With 189 players connected, SwC Poker is currently a bit smaller than Seals was.

anyway, when we build out our platform and fix our bugs, these games will fill up.

Remember table starter rakeback is on for all games, 6max+.  Playing 2 or 3 handed gets you auto-50% rakeback, so that is a proper incentive to help me start some games until we have all clients & the affiliate program.

I know your main focus is still on a software, but give it some thought

I think if their focus was actually on the software, they would have found some way by now (more than 1.5 years) to make this work on something other than Windoze. 

I was playing today and the client kept crashing , I don't know what's the problem should I uninstall the software and redownload it ??

For players to come and play, you need working software.

When SWC started out with the legacy of sealswithclubs, their brand was unbeatable, they really only needed a working product in order to have massive market-share.  Because they've done next-to-nothing (it seems) to get out working, cross-platform software (a hallmark of sealswithclubs), their brand has been in a slow but steady decline.  Now it's getting very sad, but many of us realized quite a while a go the trajectory these guys were on.

Management is listening, carefully, to all the players. Krill rakeback is still real and shows up in your account every Monday. Games are good, we need players to come and play.

If the games were good, you wouldn't need players to come and play.  In fact, you'd NOT want more players in the pool if the games were good.  The fact is, the games are NOT good...they aren't running!

We don't want management to listen, we want them to act.  In the last 6 months the only action they've taken is to cut guarantees, cut and then remove promised lifetime rewards, and not tweet or post anything publicly.  Managment is sending a very loud and clear message to the users: "We don't care about SWC"...and if they don't care, why should we?

I agree about the lack of promotions and the lack of management communicating with us. The software is improved though as long as you have Windows. Also, games will run if more people will sit and wait a few minutes. I get all the action I want and earn over 2k krill each week.  I'm lucky enough to be decent at all games though. If people will just sit and wait for a few minutes at the game the prefer, the site will gain in traffic. You can't just go on and say- oh well the site is dead. You have to start the game.

Learning the rules for any one variant of poker will take a couple of hours.  You would start by reading through the rules (maybe at Wikipedia), observing a table running that game, and eventually sitting down to play the game yourself.  The benefit of online poker is that the software will not allow you to make any illegal moves.

Playing and not losing money in poker is long, frustrating journey.  There is pretty much no way to get better in poker other than playing hundreds of thousands of hands and developing the logic and intuition for the game through a heuristic approach.  Intelligence and math--without experience--will not be enough to make you a winning player.

However, if you decide that you would rather just enjoy the gambling aspect of poker without an expectation of making money, I highly recommend brushing up on your trash talk.  I generally keep a list of swear words and 'your mother' insults handy that I successively run through each session.  Sometimes it's just cathartic to curse out people online, and poker players make the best targets.  Depending on the opponent, you might be lucky enough to witness a grown man have a total emotional breakdown over a game of cards.

Lastly, look at other sites.  SwC has horrible and unresponsive management and the site has been steadily declining in traffic and quality since it opened its doors last year. (Just look at the series of posts above this one.)

What you are saying makes no sense.  You say that there are no tables going and that people here have to start games.  No games running = dead site.  If there are people looking to play...they would be playing. 

For example, right now, there are 7 games running.  5 of them have open seats.  Where are the players?  Why are these games heads up?  There are another 26 tables with one person sitting at them.  They are trying to start the game.  Why are the games not running?  There are levels from 10plo all the way to 10kplo...nobody is looking to play. 

If what you are saying is that there are a bunch of people who are sitting around, watching the lobby, waiting for people to start tables (why don't they do it themselves?), but aren't playing the people who are sitting at the tables currently, the only logical explanation is that they are hardcore bumhunters who are just looking to pick off easy prey.  So it seems like, of the 180 people online, 10 of them are looking to play (biggest game running: 20plo) and 170 of them are looking for bums to hunt.  That's a dead site.

If you actually played on SWC, you would know that of those 180 people, 10 are looking to play, 70 stay logged in 24/7 (but are asleep at the moment), and 100 are busto and begging for stakes.

I know that I get lots of action by waiting a few minutes at a few different games and others can too.  I agree that management should communicate more and try some good promotions. The leaderboard was good but they shouldn't have lowered the prizes. Anyway, I don't think the site is dead.

I wish SwC management would put a little more effort into growing.  But hey, at least they aren't run by a team of retards who focus only on trying to trick the world into believing how amazing, honest and successful they are like Betcoin.

In the end, both sites are pretty close Traffic wise.

There's plenty of bitcoin action out and I think the immediate future will see an upward trend with Bovada now taking Bitcoin.

At 1 am on a week night heres Bovada and WPN  cash games look like (although not the softest of games)
I think a well run, cryptocurrency oriented site could easily grow to average 300-400 players over 7 days within a few months.

You're right about sites that accept bitcoin.

He may have been referring to strictly bitcoin payment method only sites, of which none really have traffic or traction.

SWC was the leading site in this category for quite a while, but as I grew tired of the disconnects and haven't visited them lately, I have no idea where they stand anymore.

Yeah I asked Bovada about bitcoin cashouts and they gave me the runaround. I used to play there when they were Bodog and it was a pain to cashout with actual money.  I know the action isn't great, I'm just saying if you sit and wait at a few different games- things will pick up. I get bitcoin cashouts from Bovada in, on average, 2 days.  

I understand what you are saying.  I'm telling you that what you are saying doesn't make any sense and you are overlooking how things actually are.  If you want to continue to do that, that's obviously fine.  But don't lie to people and don't try to contradict me because you don't know what you are talking about.  We get that you want SWC to succeed.  Everyone does.  Lying about the state of their site isn't going to do that.
