Hello everyone,

My name is GreedxIsland and I am a long-time, high stakes poker player at SWCPoker. Some of you will recognise my nickname from the tables and wonder if I am not impersonating. Sit me on SWCPoker and I'll confirm this post.

I wanted to come into this thread to give an accurate review of this pokersite through the eyes of a valued customer. I've been playing over three years at SWC and have experienced the transfer in management that occurred due to the debacle that Micon was in at the time. This was handled very professionally, with me holding a balance of over 50 btc on the site at the time, which was withdrawn to my wallet in less than 24 hours. It is rare for poker or gambling sites to act as ethical as the new management and Micon did. An effort was made to reduce the impact of the change on players and the site was rebooted under new management and using new software.

Unfortunately, Seals lost a lot of players after this transfer. A combination of being offline for a while and newer, sometimes flashier sites popping up. This is a true shame, as SWCPoker has a lot of advantages and perks. First of all they have a very reasonable rake structure, which is always something which one should respect as a customer of a poker site. The software they use is really decent, yes you have to download it but this brings benefits such as increased performance and reliability. Your money is absolutely safe there and withdraws are very quickly. I've been holding a balance of close to 10 btc there for months and despite my reluctance on trusting third parties, I am ok with it in this case.

I have created this post because of some negative reactions in the thread. In my opinion, this negative sentiment is grossly unjustified and I had to step in to give an accurate description of my own personal experiences. I would also like to use this post to schedule some new and exciting matches. Note that I am mainly a heads up player (usually because of the lack of traffic) and play only high stakes for multiple bitcoin buy-ins. For most of you reading this post, playing me will be financially impossible. But I know there are players out there looking for an intense experience against an aggressive opponent. I have very high integrity standards and generally show a lot of respect to my opponents provided they are friendly. I consider myself a strong player and it will not be a challenge for anyone. So if any other high stakes players are out there and would like to have a cool match on SWCPoker, I will definitely be down for this. Just shoot me a private message here and we can set something up. Or just come sit me at the tables and we can have a chat there too. This would also be a great opportunity for many of you lower stakes players to observe a high stakes match, for entertainment or educational purposes. I hope my initiative is appreciated and that I can rely on the enthusiasm in the Seals community.

Shout-out to all of you who have contributed to the SWC-legacy over the years.

Come at me,

GreedxIsland

How about some 3/pt OFC tables. I want to play higher than 2.......but 5 is too much.

We have added 3/pt OFC tables as per your request. If any player desires a game and limit combination you don't see on the site, feel free to reach out here or via our support email. Thanks for playing on SwC.

How about fixing bugs where players 'Encounter Improper Arguments', or get disconnected and have their disconnect protection run out, or not activate at all? This has been an ongoing issue for coming up on two years, with no sign of any improvement in the forseeable future.

But glad you could add more broken tables.

Love you,

Looks like they cut back the freerolls again. BTC is at a 2-year high and they're cutting promotions? Fire the marketing department, imo.

is SWCpoker a fun place to play at? I know some poker sites have this thing where people who know each other would go and join the same table and then try to beat the newb
who joined their table by themselves. Does that happen a lot? or is it a bit more fairer.

I'd be wary of SWC.

I've been enjoying SWC for a while, but recently, I just lost all pretty much entire balance there. It sucks as I went to SWC after leaving betcoin for getting screwed out of coins by bug and now similar happened to me here.

Was on a great roll at SWC, came first in 2 out of my last three tournaments.  Logged in one day, and 90% of my balance was gone.  I emailed the support on Saturday and haven't heard anything back and not holding my breath.

Also, when trying to figure out how my krill / money 'mysteriously vanished' suddenly, been checking out the log file for this client, and its a @#@#@ mess, my log file is 1.1 GB... of log file... and I maybe played 2 or 3 times a month.

Anyways, I don't recommend SWC anymore. Will change my opinion based on what support says but I doubt that'll do anything. Been scammed so many times in the bitcoin sphere I've been pretty much stopped using it altogether, it sucks.

I recommend to make regularly screenshots of your account balance, then you have at least a documentation of your account balance. When you have a bank account, you store as well account extracts or not?

You have meanwhile other Bitcoin poker site alternatives with instant withdraw, so you can withdraw your account balance after each session.

Also in July you said:

There is a rep on this forum, and it is I. Our affiliate manager recently left, and those of us who are taking over his responsibilities are going to have to learn the process. It may be a week or even a little longer. We apologize for the delay, we sincerely appreciate your interest in becoming affiliates, and you WILL be hearing from us. As I said above, the silence is over.

Since then, you've made three posts (this post being your third).  Why was the silence resumed?

I love SWC but lowering the leaderboard prizes is not smart.  It really created action and since it's the main promotion- I think they could afford it.  Just because the price of bitcoin is up shouldn't matter. The rake they earn is worth more. I honestly don't understand management Sad

SwC Poker has many different poker games to choose from.

The rules to our multitude of games can be found here:

https://swcpoker.eu/poker-game-rules/

We recently made our new and complete rules pages public and are now seeking feedback. We attempted to explain all of the games clearly and simply. If there is something that you feel could be explained better, let us know.

We desire to translate our poker rules pages into:

Mandarin Chinese, Russian, and Portuguese

If you are fluent in any of these languages and want to help the project, please email: support@swcpoker.eu with the subject "Poker Rules Translation"

Any update? I would love to play on mobile!

20% is too little, if swc wants to be competitive like 2 years ago, they need to pay 40%-50% rake back to affiliates, why people play here? No reason, betcoin poker and nitrogen poker is much better than swc.

Why not develop a mobile version so that we can play poker in an iphone? Even your homepage is of desktop version only which is bad, as more people are accessing via mobile nowadays.

I have not read it, I just share my view. Anyway overwhelmingly more people are using mobile, so it is very bad to create desktop only version. That's why so few people playing in the site. I have played in partypoker, microgaming years before, with thousands of players online, unlike the jokingly small number of players in this site.

Maybe the credibility is also a problem, as I remember I have played in this site before but with another longer domain name, had heard there is some trouble with them, if you deposit here I am afraid the funds may get 'hacked' one day. So it is wise to stay away.

SwC Poker Introduces New Tournament Schedule

Today we have launched our new tournament schedule. While we have made lots of changes, you will still find many of your old favorites spiced up with new OverKrill, KrillRoll, and Freeroll schedules. A concentration was made on lower limit tournaments, adding many 1, 2, 3, and 5 chip MTTs in a variety of games. No-limit hold'em is most strongly represented, as it is still the most popular form of poker, but our mixed-game heavy platform is well documented in the new tournament schedule.

Highlights:

✔️ Daily OverKrill: With buyins ranging from 1-10 chips & Krill requirements from 250-5k, we have created a schedule that rewards our frequent players. OverKrill tournaments are designed to overlay. Players with the required Krill can capture this value each and every day.

✔️ Daily KrillRoll: The KrillRoll schedule now increases the prizepool amount every day throughout the week, starting on Monday with a tiny 3 chips (10 Krill needed) and culminating on Saturday with a 50 chip Krillroll (2.5k Krill needed).

✔️ 3x Daily Freerolls: Don't worry, we left three (3) totally free freerolls running each and every day in addition to the rewards listed above for active players. You don't need any Krill to get in these, simply sign up for a free, no-dox SwC Poker account and try our software for absolutely free trying to win a small amount of real bitcoin.

✔️ New 250 Chip "High Roller 12 Game" on Sundays: SwC Poker's 12 game mix cash game has been running frequently at 4-8, 6-12, 10-20, and occasionally higher. A player reached out to and asked if we would host a high limit 12 game tournament on Sundays, and we are happy to put this unique tournament in the lobby for our loyal players that asked.

✔️ We Kept The Important Stuff: The Daily Crumb, Fish Fry, Saturday 420, Little & Medium BTC are all staying. So are many other of your favorite tournaments.

For all feedback regarding our new schedule, please email us: support@swcpoker.eu

Due to the restrictive nature of Apple products, we currently have no plans to develop an iPhone app.
