I just love how DaDice banned one of it's first users who has deposited and lost in the past because they used the faucet and were exceedingly lucky.

Is this true? Are you sure he didn't exploit it in some way?

Hey Liquid asdfgh was me AKA UnixPunk from PD btw. It was legit play from faucet, I certainly had no idea that the act of playing from faucet was a bannable offence. I'm pretty bothered that I was given the impression that I was actually winning something, I'll get over it though. This could have been a great PR story to publicly announce of an extreme win, but this is the end result.

Could've been a false alarm, AFAIK the "moderation" of accounts, if they are farming or not, is done by an algorithm, so something you did must've triggered it. You should contact support regarding this, I'm sure they'll honour your withdrawal request if they don't deem your account as farming.

I've become a more cynical person today, If it sounds too good to be true ...

You have some good luck there but I wouldn't be surprised if Dadice doesn't honor your withdrawal request as its in their terms of service

there is no obligation to honour withdrawal requests that are a result of faucet use only.

And as far as I can understand, you made those 10btc all from just faucet.

Based on the TOS what you did is not prohibited. You shouldn't have been banned in the first place.. You didn't farm the faucet, you just won from it. What it's not allowed is to wager the max faucet with a high multiplier (x5 and above), tip to another account and then repeat, accumulating this way a bigger balance. Correct me if i'm wrong but this is not the case here.

I'm already of the opinion that they will not given the ban and all. And yes, I did not notice that addition to the TOS or would not have even wasted time collecting the faucet. It must have been added sometime between when I was playing in the spring and when I came back recently. Lesson learned, I just want others to know what to expect if they get as "lucky" as I did with the faucet.

Well at least you are publicly admitting that faucet rolls on high payout will not be honored and will result in a ban even if the person has deposited >1BTC in the past. I have been contacting my friends who I referred to DaDice in the past and they will also no longer make deposits on your site.

If you don't want users to claim the faucets too many times, why don't you add a cap on the daily claim or total claim? I think it would be a better approach than to block withdrawals as it should create less controversy. Just my 2 cents.

As per the TOS they have no obligation to honor any withdraw made from faucet, so it makes the faucet pretty pointless to even have. Even if I had not done high payout odds I would still have had my withdraw denied. They should just completely disable faucet if it is pointless(CANNOT WIN).

Happened to me as well at least two times.
The biggest problem is that you have no betting history and can't look up what happened...
Dadice is just too laggy...

On the TOS for faucets, it says this "Please note that we also reserve right to ban all accounts and confiscate any amount of balance (resulted from faucet farming), if we find any user involved in severe faucet abuse, e.g. using multiple accounts and aliases farming faucet throughout the day."

Did the user 'asdfgh' spam the faucet a bunch before he got lucky and ended up winning a bunch? Or did he just happen to get the faucet and happen to win a lot? I don't see why you should ban him and take away the bitcoin he earned if he has never farmed or spammed the faucet before. I completely understand if he was farming the faucet a ton and trying to hit 198x's and such from the very start a bunch of times previously. But I was there when it happened and it seemed to me like he lost some bitcoin after depositing and he just happened to use the faucet while waiting and happened to hit a lot of lucky rolls. That doesn't seem like abusing/farming to me.
