I'd like to add a question on the most recent posts that Spoon brought up.
Is Asicminer selling chips at cost already? Rumors have been going around that it is known in China that the chips are being sold at cost. Can we please have a confirm/deny on these rumors? The last post mentioned that average sales cost is about .5$/gh, is this still the average?
We appreciate everything you do Friedcat.

oh cmon.. the guy said 2 words, not proving anything and everybody fall for it. wtf spondodude has any knowledge of AM's businesses. wtf does he has to comment on it. wtf doesnt he have better things to do. sounds more desperate than professional. edit: does FC comment on their overpriced pre-ordered hardware that wont ROI and their thread being over self-moderated about it? No. You need to chill. Receiving no dividends surely heats up people and this thread, but Guy has no reason and no gain from lying about that, but it seems that he has a bit more information than what you as shareholders have.

I get a sense that everything is going to be fine with this. FC is not known for getting himself into unprofitable situations. Given that AM skipped Gen2 and went right to Gen3, there has been ample time for the company to develop an air tight game plan for selling miners at the right price / time frame. The very worst case scenario that seems plausible would be AM selling Gen3 at a slight profit and putting it all into Gen4.
That would likely mean no dividend for 2014 as the company would move hard to get Gen4 out as soon as possible. More likely scenario is FC has made some deals to leverage the production capacity for Gen3, and some of these dealings are starting to make their way through the cracks of the industry. As always, waiting to hear back from the Fried One is the best course of action, opposed to panicking for the 14634th time.
As always, a rational approach is best. We will have answers soon.

It is obvious if you watch the action on Havelock that there are a lot of shares being traded around the current price. No one is buying up the price but those who are buying at this price are going to feel like those who bought at ipo soon enough. There just aren't any securities out there who give a decent return and the vast majority are ripoffs and scams. The days of 30% annual divs are going away for ever soon and just getting a solid few points will be phenomenal in the bitcoin space.

For every panic-ridden shareholder that wants to sell his ASIC MINER shares at close to IPO price ( I.E. At a loss) during the sale of Gen3 products, there is a savvy buyer thanking his lucky stars we are in an industry still in it's youth where assets can be almost given away on the eve of profits. I shake my head every time I see someone selling into the Bids, but that's the way she goes.

I hope at some point in the near future asicminer can put together some internal mining like this. Even 0.72 PH/s would be... 26.8966 BTC per day, according to bitcoinx.

I agree with that. A fair point can't just hide the coins in just-dice anyways the market will start moving when the dividend distribution begins in full tandem right now its just a holding position time when the shares are trading at pretty much break even or the value of chips and the company.

Tiny div on a regular basis would solve this but is seems AM/FC just doesn't care.
