If i was wrong then why the Bangladesh team was not able to make any significant improvement in their bowling department when they have hired a new good bowling coach ?  They lost the two T20s recently.

Ottis Gibson join Bangladesh recently. You can't expect a change within this short time. One of our key bowler is passing worst times. We are missing the one man army Shakib while the regular batsman with a significant average Mushfiq is also missing. You can't expect better performance with this team.

This is the first time i am hearing about Ottis Gibson and hopefully he will help the Bangladesh team improve their bowling, i was checking who was their former bowling coach and i could not find any and in that case i do think he is the first bowling coach appointed by Bangladesh and if Ottis Gibson can help them improve the fitness and quality of bowling then it is great for the team.

Does the coach in cricket matter the most ? I don't think so. This is not football where a good coach can change the fortune of the team. Cricket is a different game altogether and a coach cannot make much different to a team.

I think you're wrong. A good coach is always needed in all games to win the matches. To come up with a good strategy against a strong team you need a good coach and captain for the team. There are a lot of things players can learn from these experienced coaches and it will help them then they are under stress.

Can you please not mixup the politics and game..? The decision of whether to play/tour or not will not be an independent decision of players. The board decides that and based on a yes or no, players will be asked.

Anyways just saw the news of Prithwi Shaw making a debut against New Zealand tomorrow, I have a bet on him as he have shown great talent and India may get a new opener for themselves.

Can you please not mixup the politics and game..? The decision of whether to play/tour or not will not be an independent decision of players. The board decides that and based on a yes or no, players will be asked.

Good to hear that big names will be travelling to Pakistan. If the game happens then it will be good for Pakistan team as the lack international match exposure.

The only concern for these teams will be security which I am sure Pakistan will provide by declaring a complete shutdown of that city. Which by the way they did when srilanka was playing in Pakistan.

So its the monopoly of the big three and they will make decision keeping the interest of the each other.    I always said this many times but none agree to me. Now i am happy to see other sharing the same point of view of  Big three influence on cricket.

This is not a valid argument, because India has beaten Pakistan in all the recent matches between the two sides (including the one between the two teams during the 2019 Cricket World Cup). Also, a few days back India had decisively defeated Pakistan during the 2020 Under-19 World Cup. The current Indian team is among the world's best and I don't think that they are afraid of facing Pakistan. So the refusal to tour Pakistan has purely to do with politics.

If the rest of the countries are willing to tour Pakistan then it would be great for Pakistan cricket and with the security they have given to Sri lanka and Bangladesh and with the PCL coming up and if they conduct successfully in Pakistan then the rest of the teams might tour Pakistan. The political problem with India and Pakistan is well known around the globe and hence i am not expecting India to tour Pakistan nor play them in a series other than ICC tournaments simply because of political reasons.

This is political reason and with the current Indian government who has a extreme ideology it is just a dream to see Pakistan and India playing. The fun aspect is that the only restriction is playing cricket between Pakistan but they are playing other sports without any issue.
