None of the top three won their games this week, I hate weeks like this because of how that results with a big loss but it's also great because it gives odds a chance to recover. Bayern Munich is leading with nine points, that means they can lose three more games in a row, and they would still be at the top because they will probably have better averages then Leipzig.

This is why it's quite clear that they just simply didn't care about the game and nothing wrong with that at all. We are going to see things change a bit more and for that reason we are going to see Bayern play better. Why? Because after a draw, they play a lot better and try to shake things up and win some games in a row to get back at being on a good momentum for the season.

Just catching up with this weekend's results.
Bayern loses points for the 2nd time this season. This might not be a huge surprise, as those things will happen from time to time, but I would expect that to happen against a little bit stronger teams (from the middle of the table or above), not at home against the weakest team in the league.
Bayern started off well, they took the lead in the 29th minute after the goal by Karl, which was his 15 goal. But then Mainz pressed harder and shifted the result in their favour. Bayern managed to equalise only from Kane's penalty, a few minutes before the final whistle.

Kompany didn't seem too upset about the result. Despite earning only 1 point, the gap between Bayern and the 2nd Leipzig actually increased, as Leipzig suffered a defeat by Union Berlin on Fri.

Meanwhile, Leverkusen didn't disappoint as they beat FC Koln 2-0 and are slowly but surely moving back to the top. Currently they are 4th and are 3 points behind both Leipzig and Dortmund. Next week, they are playing directly against Leipzig in an away game, and I'm really curious how the game will go. Leipzig should be a slight favourite, but only because of the home advantage.

Will Bayern go unbeaten? You should get your timing right although the truth is, this game against Mainz could have been a loss already if it wasn't for the late penalty.

I believe it depends a lot on the circumstances, whether they have to rotate, whether injuries kick in. They are vulnerable as you can see. Could be worth taking a shot. Remember the DFB Pokal game against Wehen (3. Bundesliga) when Bayern won that game in 90+4 minute. Heidenheim, I would say no, but then again Mainz is 18th, has an equally bad offense and yet almost beat them.

The real threat to the unbeaten run isn't Heidenheim or even the league - it's Kompany refusing to drop the high line when the game doesn't need it. That stubbornness is what blesses teams with those cheap transition moments. That, however, is a problem of the Champions League, rather than the Bundesliga.

This wasn't something we really thought about. In fact, I actually thought Bayern Munich could score six goals against Mainz this time. But the fact is, it's truly shocking. It's like a joke, or I have no idea what they're doing in that match.

Likewise, Kompany's reaction after the match: he also admitted that their performance this time wasn't optimal and that it was truly disappointing. After all, they played at home and couldn't produce a great result that would be satisfying. In fact, it was quite disappointing to only end up drawing and sharing the points at home with a club from the relegation zone.

I don't think you can get the timing on this and just go full bet without looking at who is playing.
Normaly I would say it's not possible to lose a match, but if they play in CL till the end, they have injuries and so on, Dortmund or Bayer might be able to, but gain, they don't play with those when the rest can happen so the other chance might be if they won the Bundesliga already and don't care about the last few rounds, but then the odds will be low...

The thing here is not about them playing badly, losing the title or anything, it's about making a wrong step!
They won the last one by 13 points but still lost two matches, Mainz and Bocum, if I remember correctly, so there is still the possibility of them losing, to what team and under what circumstances, totally random so guess work or go on all games against them!

There is  no doubt that the Leipzig vs Leverkusen match will be very competitive. Leverkusen has been able to perform very well against Leipzig in the past few seasons. Leverkusen has  won 3 of the last  5 head-to -head matches and Leipzig has won only one match.

If Leverkusen had won their previous two matches( against augsburg and dortmund) , they would have been in second place in the table. But leverkusen have lost two matches in a row.

Leverkusen haven't been well in big games in the Bundesliga so far. The loss against Dortmund and the one against Bayern Munich earlier can be given as examples for this.

The other 2 losses were against Hoffenheim and Augsburg. Hoffenheim are having a good season but still it was a home game for Leverkusen. The way they lost to Augsburg is inexplicable. 

They are just an inconsistent team. Nothing even near Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen.

It was indeed surprising to see Mainz able to hold Munich to a draw at their home ground, even in terms of ball possession alone and all the statistics, it showed that Munich was favored to win, but Mainz surprisingly managed to match Munich's game and the Mainz goalkeeper performed very well to ward off so many Munich attacks. at least Mainz was still able to get a draw at Munich's home ground, and that was already a good achievement considering how dominant Munich has been throughout this season.

In short, Dortmund won a match that both teams could have won. Therefore, the other team, Leverkusen, didn't disappoint, as it was a tough match, and the better team won.

It's a shame for Leverkusen, but you have to understand something in this game, the team that scores the goals wins I've seen games where the team deserves to win , but it turns out they don't score goals, they concede them. In the end, the result speaks for itself They'll never say that the losing team played better; it's all about the score , it's all about goals , and that's what Dortmund did.
