HI guys.

I have a Sapphire RX 470 4GB OC getting about 140h/s with v8 whilst fully stock.  Has anyone tinkered with the 470 and seen if they can get more? Whats the best program to use as trixx and afterburner just seem to crash the card when I make changes?

You need Polaris Bios Editor, change the memory timings, use 1500 strap. Then lower the voltage by -100mv using Wattool 0.92. You should see a gain in speed but your power usage is now lower.

hmm, my 280x are getting 225-230...that is weird. why are the rx480 slower?

Guys stop pushing your GPU, price is low now

for the old, not so efficient cards, you have to undervolt quite a lot to get some profit if your electriicty price is high.

~125-130W without downvolt (1303 Mhz GPU core)
With downvolt (Core:1000Mhz, 850mV, mem 1950Mhz, 1000mV) - 180-185s and ~75-80W power

 Claymore was (1) NOT open source (2) don't think he ever even thought about submitting to the contest.

 I suspect he's earned more from his dev fee anyway.

I have Optiminer v0.9.0 directly from the author.

Edit: I'm sure he will release it shortly. I can not redistribute it because of the license.

Do You use some custom available bios?
I can get 180 sols but with 1191 clock.
