i want back to time when claymore didnt release optimized old card, this is ruined zec mining, all those new card stuck like hell
except the nano's hash rate is pretty amazing with low power cunsumption 205 h/s / 80 watt
RX series 90 watt at 0.9v core doing 160hs

Nano's FTW!

Edit: I've seen mention of assessing your GPUs ASIC quality, how do you tell? GPUz? or just the hash rate?

Hi,
may I have some question about using -mport..? I was suspicious why the coinmine.pl showing values which are not coresponding with my hashrate properly, often too much under average (not just in devfee period) and average was lower than should be.

So I set -mport 0 to all of my rigs, in version 6 it was good, pool was showing "better" values, I cant say if it was just luck, but V7 came and after a few seconds of mining is software is falling down.

When I set -mport -3333 or nothing everything is ok. Thanks for response.

Does anyone have a stable BIOS for RX 480 Nitro+ 4Gb Elpida?
This one isn't working for me: https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/10570/bios-for-sapphire-nitro-rx480-4gb-elpida
And what clocks and voltage are you using?
Didn't find anything on this thread :/

I have a link for the 4gb and the 8gb versions, http://www.cryptominingtalk.com/flashing-bios/
edit: dont know if its the same though.
Thx but they are the same :/
Does anyone have at least proper clocks and voltages for best h/W ?
Have 1300MHz/1060mV and 1800Mhz/960mV for Mem right now

any chance you will begin to work on nvidia and cuda? amd is reaching is limit already i don't think it's possible to do high improvement anymore

on the other hand a 1070 is stuggling to have 125 sol and it should be 160 at the very least, and i think it might be higher, up to 180...

I still can improve speed, though it requires more and more efforts and time. It seems about 300H/s on stock 390X is possible. So it's not over for AMD yet and therefore I don't have time for NVidia.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

I listed only results on GPUs that i have, it won't be apropriate to add something because results may be different depending on settings (all stock, but bios mod timings), rig hardware (i have most rigs on 775 socket, even some with DDR1 memory, after V3.0 they show same speed as the new ones on 1150 socket).
If anyone interested i came to conclusion that only thing that matters for old CPU on multiGPU rig is HyperThreading or other VirtualCore technology, without it there is a big hashrate drop.

He don't hate Nvidia.. why should he? Nvidia is just a card.. can do no harm to him..  Grin

maybe he's just trying to reach the limit of amd cards first.. after that maybe he would work on Nvidia card also... be patient..

i think there is some stability issue in V7 , rx 480 start ok and slowely hashrate droping , mine start with 167 and drop to 18.

v6 works fine.

Hey Hotmetal, sorry if you have already mentioned this somewhere, what Make our your Cards?

I have 4 x Sapphire RX480 8GB Nitro+ and two of them have had the BIOS Modded on them from the Mod in this Video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mwb67g4skGM&t=356s

I am finding that my H/s can fluctuate on my cards between 130 H/s and 154 H/s per Card, sometimes hitting a total of 612 H/s and sometime down in the 560 H/s

I have a 1600Watt PSU, but not as of yet overclocked the cards,

Just wondering if you have modded your cards at all? Also which variables are you using?

Sorry for all the questions, just want to try get me Hash Rate Stable and Running at the best it can be, (Electricity is also not an issue for me :-P)

I have the Sapphire RX480 8GB Nitro+. Use that bios as a starting point and increase the GPU speed.

Thanks Hotmetal, I think my cards were configured slightly weird and I had not enabled Crossfire on one of them, with the new v7 I am getting about 720 H/s and is it not fluturating as much, Memory 2100 GPU around 1388, I might try crank it up a little more as I am not paying for my Watts 😄

Sorry for being offtopic, but when does nicehash pay? I have gathered BTC in the amount of 10$, and all is in unpaid balance.

Sure. I have for RX-470P437BM, RX-470P436BM, RX-470P4SFD5. Only 1500 strap copy paste. For v7 it's not actual coz hashrate is the same mod bios or not. The hashrate is 155 sol/s for this models. Stock clocks core/memory.
