Recording daily noon network hashrate, 9/27 topped 1,324,213Gh/s then dropped back yesterday and today is 1,272,428. Could that 9/27 peak have been KnC?
Was wondering this myself... I don't recall the URL, but isn't there a site where you can see mining activity by geographic location? The idea that KnC has chips on PCB secretly testing and not reveling it to the public is so naive. Why would they do such a thing? What gain would that strategy bring instead of announcing big news they actually have chips in hand?

Not gonna lie, this doesn't look good. A video would've been posted by now if everything was working out.

Let's say that KNC is going to be late and deliver Day 1 and Day 2 orders in October or near to the 2nd batch.
Should Day 1 and Day 2 orders be upgraded/compensated for the delay?
(full disclosure, I have a Day 1 order)

A discount on another order would be fine with me. Not gonna lie, this doesn't look good. A video would've been posted by now if everything was working out.

I may need therapy after all this... The asic 12 step group. Lol, nahh.. I think all will be well... you know this reminds me of the time I sold my stock in PEIX that I bought for .25 per share to fund my BFL order which has yet to ship... looking back and seeing PEIX did a 15 to 1 split in shares a week after I sold it, and seeing the price per share now above $3.00 per share. The lesson I have taken away from this is that its not always wise jump immediately simply because the outlook seems bleak... sometimes you have to weather the storm.

Also, is it bad that I'm not too worried? I have faith in KnC, or hell, the manufacturer at this point. In all honesty, it's not KnC's fault if it's late. It all depends on how fast the things can be built. So, at this point don't blame KnC. Who knows, we may see 400 Gh/s... PER CHIP. If you think, they're not using the SO-DIMM FPGA things from ORSoC...

Think they underestimated the time it takes to put the ASICs on boards?

Maybe there are unexpected quirks to such a large size ASIC. Getting all the ball soldered on the grid might be more difficult given the large size.
